30 days!!

Today is our 30-day mark for our trip to Aulani!! SO EXCITED!!!! I knew you all would understand!

We're mostly ready - luau, whale watching excursion, Ama Ama and Pearl Harbor are booked; packing list is started; basic itinerary planned; shopping list is a work in process. Now comes the hard part -

We went with Aulani's luau (VIP package). It's our first full day and not having to do anything but take an elevator to our room afterwards sounded wonderful! For the whale watching, we booked with Island Divers Hawaii Kai using a Groupon. (Totally random factoid - there used to be a sea animal park about 20 minutes from my home called Hawaii Kai. it closed many more moons ago than I care to count!) They have a hydrophone on the boat, so hopefully we'll get to hear some live whalesong! We booked Pearl Harbor on our own - we're going to have a car, so it made the most sense. We've timed it with swap meet day.

Now, just 29 more days to wait...

The seating is closer and I believe the drinks are unlimited. Oh - and you get a deluxe lei! While the drinks aren't a big draw (although they'll be appreciated), the better seating was a big factor for us.
