**30 Day Shred Challenge**

On Day 17 today. I had to take 2 days off becuase I pulled a muscle in my neck and back the first day of level 2. I am really starting to see results! I was wearing a pair of jeans yesterday that I purchased in Sept. They were fairly snug and I could never wear a fitted shirt with them because I had a huge muffin top!:scared1: Yesterday...muffin top GONE!! ALL GONE! And I wore a slim fit t shirt from Express with them and looked great! I ended up going to put on a belt because I couldn't keep them up! Woo HOO!

I love Jillian Micheals!:worship: She has such a way to push me to my limits and keep me going. :yay: I can't wait to try out level 3...

disneymomofmyca- That is awesome!! Gives me something to aspire to. :goodvibes

Did Day 3 of level 3 last night. I was so much easier than the first day... but I'm still mostly following Anita... but I did try following Natalie for a few things... just couldnt' keep up with her intenseness :worship:

I stopped The Shred at day 12. My knees are swollen and sore. I went to the chiropractor yesterday and he said to take it easy on the exercise. I'm going to take a few more days off then I guess I'll go back to level 1. My knees didn't start hurting until I moved up to level 2. I'm still doing well on the weight watchers. Lost another 2.8 pounds this week. I figure if I keep moving and losing then eventually I'll be able to do level 2 and 3 and my knees will be able to support me. I have changed my weigh-in day (suggestion of a co-worker) I now weigh-in on Thursdays. It seems to be better. On Monday this week I had gained 1/2 a pound. On Thursday I was down 2.8 pounds. :yay: I couldn't understand the gain on Monday because my jeans were definately looser. Thursday's weigh-in makes much more sense.

mommytoe - try to take time to take care of yourself while you are taking care of your MIL and your big family move.

arielmomma - hope you're having a great time at Disney!

jen414 - good news about your daughter. Hope you get more good news at the neuro and ENT. :goodvibes

Keep up the good work everyone who is sticking to it. I am inspired by your successes and posts about your exercise routines.

Hey Guys!

Love the 30 Day Shred (but must admit have had to turn on mute a couple times! LOL)

Just started Level 3 tonite. More plank moves in this one, and using weights even for the cardio...it's tough.

I started to drink a ton of water and stop eating by 7pm. It's hard cuz I love to snack at night, but now I just drink water instead. I started doing this back in late October...according to Wii have lost about 14 lbs total since then, I'm hoping this shred (started my 3rd week tonite) will help the weight come off faster.

Good luck everyone:cheer2:

Hey everyone! I just bought the DVD on Amazon this weekend and can't wait to start it - can I join in?

I would love to lose 15-20 pounds by summer to get back to prepregnancy weight. I'm okay with my pants size, but I want to look better in them!

I have a weak ankle from an injury in 2001, Chondromalacia patella (runner's knee) in my knees, and a hip that likes to pop out of it's socket from when I was a dancer/cheerleader, so I hope I can keep up. When I exercise on the treadmill or eliptical I tend to overdo it so I'm hoping a video will make me stop before I hurt myself (from what it sounds like this video will make me stop and fall on the floor begging to be done!).

Anyway, I'm glad to have some support!

After reading this thread I ordered the video and start today. I am kind of nervous about how hard it may be at first because I am pretty out of shape. But I am determined to stick this out.:thumbsup2

UPDATE: I just finished my first try. Thought I would die! LOL But day one down. I feel shaky and I downing a ton of water!

May I join you ladies? My trip is coming up in May :cool1:
I want to lose 20 lbs by then if possible. I have been doing P90X on Mon and Wed nights and 30 day Shred on Tues, Sat, and Sun. Friday night is my rest night and I spend it out with my friends and family:). I am also counting points with Weight Watchers. I am 43 years old, and want to get my weight under control before it controls me! My mini goal is the 20 lbs by May, but will still need to lose another 20 after that to be where I want to be. I weigh in on Friday mornings and this Friday will be my first weigh in. Prior to that I was too scared to jump on the scale, but when I did I was horrified!
Anyways, I am still on Level 1 of JM 30 day Shred, the only hard part for me is the jumping jacks, then jumping rope section. It's hard on my knees and I already have a very small torn meniscus in my knee. I'm really hell bent on getting the weight off this time, but only time will tell....

Good Luck everyone!

Welcome to the new people. I started back on Day 1 again yesterday. I could do everything except the butt kicks, so I just did jumping jacks instead. My leg is a little sore today--went to the doctor on Monday and she said I probably tore my hamstring. Running is definitely out for a while, which stinks, because that's what I really like to do. I'm practically counting the days until it's warm out again. Of course, in this area, that could be late Arpil!

My daughter was cleare by the neurosurgeon on Monday. Friday we go back to the ENT and hopefully she will be able to pass the hearing test. She was unable to pass it when we were in the hospital.

Keep up the good work everyone!

The jumping jacks really hurt my knees too. Hopefully after a few tries it won't be so bad:wizard:

sounds like we have similar goals! I want to lose 20-25 by may! my shred dvd should be here on Friday, so i hope to start Fri or Sat! i hurt myankle recently on my elliptical so i am a bit nervous of hurting it further, but i have to try!

Jen414- glad to see you can get back with it :goodvibes Glad to hear your daughter is doing well

I am still working on Level 3. I did really well last Thursday. Then I didn't work out all weekend. No weight loss again after last week. I took off a few days because DD isn't feeling well and has been getting me up at all hours of the night for feedings and rocking. She's got a snuffy nose and is fussy. She just had a bunch of vaccines on Monday so it could be that, or she's cutting teeth :scared1: I don't even want to think about that. I just hope she's not really sick. I don't think she is sick beause she will go long periods where she's her happy normal self and then her nose gets stuffy again.

I haven't checked in with you guys in a couple of weeks, but I am still doing The Shred. I am proud to report that as of this morning my total weight loss is now 10 pounds!

Hey everybody. I'm so excited to report that after a 3 week plateau I finally lost 1.5 lbs!!! So I'm down a total of 6.5 lbs. Only 19 lbs to go...This may take a while but it will be worth it. I'm still on level 3 but this week I'll probably start rotating the levels to work the muscles differently.
