I read in another post that you must show proof that you live in the UK - is this true?

Jodi -

are you talking about the one that you can use for 10 days and expires within 30 days? If so, no residency restrictions, if not, hopefully someone else can help

If they are the 30 day "Fun in the Sun pass,

From MouseSavers: http://www.mousesavers.com/tickets.html
Last I heard, they were still selling this pass to US and Canadian residents, though I've been told the Fun in the Sun Pass is not supposed to be sold in North America. This is definitely a "grey market" situation, so buy with caution. I do know that Americans have successfully used the 30-Day pass in the past without problems. You receive a voucher that must be exchanged at Guest Services on your arrival. I've heard from several people who showed US drivers' license or similar ID when exchanging vouchers for the passes and there was no problem.

From my experience:

I bought the 30 day Fun in the Sun pass from ticketmania when they had a special for mousesavers in October 2002. I had no idea that they were intended for the UK. Then I read here that they were for UK residents and we would have to show a passport.

I called TicketMania and they said the Fun in the Sun was for the UK but occasionally they were offered for the US. They also told me that the UK vouchers had the "must show passport" on the back of the vouchers and the non-UK version only asked for ID.

I was still a nervous wreck. When I got the vouchers they did not say anything about passports but just valid ID. I called Ticketmania again just to make sure and they assured me that they would be accepted with our Texas drivers licence as an ID. They also promised me that if I had any problems using them to call them back and they would trade them for regular passes with no extra charge.

When we arrived at our WDW resort around 5:00 PM, we immediately took the first bus going to any park so I could make sure they would work. The first bus just happened to be going to Epcot so we got on. We had no problem getting the vouchers exchanged for real passes. We entered Epcot and got the finger scan and then turned around and came back out. I just wanted to make sure everything was working. We had no problems at all the 2 weeks we used them. It was great being able to go to Pleasure Island, Disney Quest, and also the waterparks as often as we wanted. The Breakfast vouchers were great also.
