3 Year Old Friendly Resort?

I am trying to decide between WL and AKL I have a 3 year old. Which resort would be nicer for her? Is there any swings and slides nearby?

Just my opinion but I think that WL would be a better choice for the location. We stayed there with my DD who was two and it was nice to have the boat to Magic Kingdom since we spent most of our time there.

AKL is great for this age. I just got back with my 3 girls ages 6,4, and 1. There was a playground with slides, but no swings that I saw. There is also a slide into the pool. They provided lifejackets and my 4 year old went down it many times. I stood at the bottom and caught her. The animals were the highlight of our trip. We even stayed at the resort one day and saved a day on our passes because we loved it and there were so many activities to do.

We have stayed at both resorts with DD close to the same age. We loved both of them but there was one big advantage to the WL. When we left MK either in the afternoon or evening, if she was asleep in the stroller she could stay in it while on the boat to WL. I wouldn't use this as a deciding factor but it was an advantage. I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

I agree that you can't go wrong. I personally would not base the choice on transportation, because I think AKL's bus service was outstanding, and the WL boats can be glacially slow. However, my DS3 does not nap in his stroller...

I think it all depends of your child. My DS3 did love the animals, but really wasn't that interested in them after a couple of days. He's a VERY active child and we could have used some places to let him just run around, which we did not have at AKL. My DS1 however, could have looked at the animals all day long, every day, and doesn't have tons of energy to release.
