3 weeks!! What should I be doing at this point?

Tickets are purchased and printed out
Hotel has been booked since January
Transportation arranged

We don't do any sit down restaurants (with 4 kids it's just not that fun).

Anything else I should be doing to prep at this point?

* Grocery delivery from Vons.com is great. You create a shopping list online, place your order, select a delivery time for a fee. We place our order and the groceries are waiting at the hotel when we arrive. I usually get bottled water, snacks, baby carrots, cereal, milk, bowls, yogurt, sandwich stuff, chips, etc. This is fabulous because I don't have to spend time grocery shopping plus we save money on purchasing lots of snacks/beverages in the park.

Three weeks about the time I make sure I have airline-approved toiletries, and get them rounded up in the magical quart-size baggy.

I may also work through my clothing plans--especially if there's pieces I'm not wearing on a weekly basis, I will just pack them. Honestly, though, I tend to pack several weeks ahead anyway

Your list looks like you covered all the basics; so I would say just ENJOY yourself now.

I still need to book my transportation but otherwise I have my hotel, tickets, etc so I am good too. DH is traveling for business/meeting us there and has nothing figured out yet so he needs to get a move on!

3 weeks will go by super quick, how exciting! At this time, I say to reconfirm your reservations. I am sure everything is all set, but I like to call the hotel ahead of time to double check. This way you can reconfirm the room type reserved and you can make sure that any special requests are noted on your reservation, if you added any.

So close!! We're about 5 weeks out ourselves and after being "dormant" for 2 months (since booking the hotel and flights), I'm starting to kick back into all these final things too.

I know you said you don't do sit downs but I highly recommend a character breakfast for your littles. Mine look forward to that every time we go and they just adore meeting all their characters (my oldest at 12 begged to do one again this time). We've always done Minnie's at the Plaza Inn. Lots of characters and interaction and a great breakfast to start the day. It's a bit expensive but honestly, seeing the kids just beam is so worth it.

I recommend going out and buying a bunch of Crystal Light single serving mixes. We brought those and empty water bottles in with us last time and saved a TON on drinks. The water in the parks is nearly undrinkable but purchasing drinks there or bringing our own and dragging them around all day just isn't reasonable. So with these mixes we saved a ton on drinks and made the water available tasty.

Also, little packages of nuts are good to prepare too. I went out and bought a big Costco bag and broke them down into single servings. They were great to open up when the kids got hungry but we weren't ready to eat a meal yet.

On one of our longer trips I had only packed one days worth of socks and underwear because I needed to do laundry. I had intended to pack more later but forgot. So that left me with two pairs of everything and every night after we got back to our room I had to do a little laundry in the sink.

To the OP, we arrive 3 weeks from yesterday. Maybe we'll run into Todzwife, and maybe even Tod and Todskids. My kids are always looking to for other kids to play with. I suppose the homeschooling creates that kind of feeling.

So I THOUGHT I had 3+ weeks left. I have 2 weeks left tomorrow! LOL!! Guess I'd better get on the ball. I have our hotel booked, flights booked and dining booked so no real panic. BUT DH still hasn't booked his flight (doing work and meeting us there) so don't know if he will be picking us up or need shuttle. I don't know how were getting to the airport. And DH went from size 8 last winter to a 12 this. So he needs some pants this weekend or will be in shorts the whole time; so far Nor Cal has been warm and he hasn't needed them. Guess I need to learn to read a calendar!
