3 Top Must Do Things at WDW

These are awesome ideas!! I am new to WDW and have put all of them in my travel notes....I mean travel binder....I mean travel dictionary. Wonder if I will be able to lug this on the plane :lmao:

Fantasmic, fantasmic, fantasmic!

This is my fave! We always, always have to see it. So many of friends have bypassed this show and I always tell them they are dumb to miss it.

If you are not into shows I recommend Wishes fireworks show, Mickeys Philharmagic (cause it's not a ride), and just having a great time with your family!!

The Nemo Musical Show at AK...Do not miss it!!! Don't sit down front, you will miss too much. It is phenomenal.
Go to the Grand Floridian and see the life size Gingerbread house...it smells so good and it is beautiful..they sell gingerbread items from inside it.
Go to Beach Club and see the marzipan carousel..also made with gingerbread..it is beautiful.
Love Fantasmic at Disney Studios, Wishes at MK, Illuminations fireworks at EPCOT

The 3 D shows, it's a bug's life at AK and Mickey's Philharmagic at MK are awesome...don't miss them.

Candlelight processional...you can usually find a place to sit in the back or just stand outside and listen and watch...I never wait in line...got things to do!

There is a Santa Clause in every country in EPCOT, or a reasonable facsimile... take their pics, listen to their stories

I can't think of the name, maybe Osbourne... but the lights in MGM at night...millions...billions...well, it looks like millions and billions...

Love to eat at Crystal Palace and dinner at Ohana...great food...

Are you children girls? For girls the best princess experience is at the Storybook Princess dinner in Norway at EPCOT

Great treats downtown Disney at Goofy's candy store...caramel apples with anything you want on them, dipped pretzels anyway you want them...all kinds of treats...fabulous

Hope this helps. We go to WDW every year last week in Nov and 1st week in Dec...it is great.

Don't miss Fantasmic! And make sure to arrive early for the best seating! There is a dinner/show package that ensures great seating if you don't want to wait!
If Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is going on while you're there, (although it is an additional cost and tickets may be purchased on-line) it's well worth the money. The "extras" are spectacular and the MK is not very croweded!
Finding Nemo The Musical is brand new at AK and is awesome!!
Have a great trip! :dance3:

1. Test Track! at Epcot
2. The Great Movie Ride at DHS
3. Adventurer's Club at Pleasure Island

Enjoy your trip!

For me:
1-RnR
2-EE
3-Le Cellier
(4-8Trax at DTD--what a hoot!)

The kids (12, 9 & 7), DH & DM would say:
1-RnR
2-Test Track
3-Soarin'
(I like their list, too)

Now this was our first trip; we did not do any fireworks, parades, nor Fantasmic. (DS7 is early riser no matter what time he goes to bed...so it was early to bed nightly for kids). There were also many rides/shows not seen...just left us wanting more!:wizard:

My sons added:

Disney Quest at DTD (especially Virtual Pirates of the Caribbean)

I agree AND disagree...

LOVED Pirates at DQ!

BUT overall, HATED DQ (yeah, kids loved it)---talk about SENSORY OVERLOAD! (I don't suppose the late night at 8TRAX the night before helped any... :lmao: )

1. Mini golfing

2. Night on the boardwalk watching the shows (magician, etc.) and having some ice cream!!

3. Petting zoo before Hoop-dee-doo revue... nice way to get away from the craziness of the parks.

What a great thread. I am going to file these away for our trip in 09 (will be worth the wait!!) Please post a trip report when you come home.

Have a wonderful vacation.

Dole Whip
HM
PoC......
I could keep going its so hard to narrow it down to 3popcorn::

Here is my two cents worth:

1. Nighttime shows (Fantasmic and Spectromagic being the best - illuminations is not that great IMHO and even less great for young ones)

2. Ride the monorail and ask to sit with the driver up front (your kids will love it and the monorail is classic disney cool)

3. Eat a TURKEY LEG - yeah baby! (in caps cuz they are just that big - like a hot dog at the ball park this is something you must do and the kids will love knawing on the 4 pounds of juicy loving goodness).
