Yes, we had to queue for quite a while for the Octoballs - we had 4 Octopus and 4 Prawn/

They were delicious - although without having anything to compare I am not sure if they were undercooked.

The batter was like a pancake batter and it seemed a little "gooey" I dont know if that is normal or not.

Yes, my family will be having fun and I will be sitting in a quiet corner dutifully typing out my TR - cause that's why we go on these trips for, not to enjoy new experiences with your family, but to write about it when we get back !

So I have been checking the Sheraton website regularly for price drops - and for the last few weeks has been showing no availability when I put my block of dates in.

So I decided to randomly put each day in seperately - and each day was available at 12750 Y for our room type - (2 double beds, 2 singles) except for the Saturday night when it was 24,000 and Wednesday @84,000.

If I could keep Wednesday 4/17 at my original booked rate of 24,000 - this would save me 78,750 or about $1000 AUD.

It was worth asking the question - and yay they agreed.

Because I couldnt book the dates I want as a block, I now have 5 separate bookings - but they assure me they will be combined and we wont have to move rooms. (DH and the kids would be very if I made them do that )

The original booking will be kept for 1day only 17/4.
Although I havent changed it yet.

I have to say - 12750y - works out to be around $160 per night - which I think is quite reasonable for a room that sleeps 5 (would even fit 6) and only a monorail ride from the parks.

Although you will have to wait for my awesomely detailed trip report for an actual review of the room.

I just had a lovely email from them - confirming they have combined my 5 seperate reservations and we will definitely be in the same room the entire time and "please do not worry about that"

I will be printing that email and putting it in my travel docs just to be sure!!

Just been catching up on the entire thread as japan may become our 2013 trip.who do I find when I go to the Disney Japan site.....all my mates from the Australian boards! Your plans sound exciting and as its a family of five very closely following ....
