3 Targets for one TOY SALE!!

Im so jealous! Got a few things at target today but I really wanted my little pony stuff. Of course they didn't have any. I called another target and they didn't have any either. :(

My daughter and I went yesterday. She works at Target. Using her discount, the mark downs, and using the free Target gift cards I have been stashing, we got $215 worth of toys for $0. That is right -zero. And we had $3 left on one of the $5 gift cards.

Yes, but often these gift cards aren't really free. For example, buy two Starbucks coffees, get a $5 gift card. I wouldn't buy the coffee in the first place without the gift card... In other words, the offer of the gift card makes it a good deal, but it's really not free. For the gift card to be free, it would have to be something I planned on getting at a good price in the first place, which it's usually not.

Thanks for the heads up!!! I really made out last night. I also went to 3 different Targets. I spent $300.00 and saved about $700.00!!:cool1: Here is a short list of some of the toys I purchased.

1.Lego Pirates of the Caribbean Queen Ann's Ship reg. price $139.99 paid
$59.96
2. Lego Pirates of Caribbean Black Pearl reg $119.99 paid $35.96
3. Lego Dino Defense HQ reg. price $109.99 paid $33.96
4. Lego Harry Potter bus reg price $38.99 paid $12.96
5. Lego Star Wars Bounty Hunter Ship reg. price 54.99 paid $24.96
6. Lego Alien Conquest Mother ship reg. price $65.99 paid $32.96

One of the Targets I went to was still only at 50% off. I may check that one again to see if they are at 70%. My kids love legos and I really love getting a deal on them!!:cheer2:

The Lego Dino sets are a great find. I bought them for my son's birthday on sale, but still spent much more than you did. However, he likes them, and they are still full price at my Targets. Enjoy! I found the Lego Nijago dragon castle for $30 last fall, usually $120 (back when it was still 75% off).

The ones I normally get are the paper products mostly. I also get the diapers for my grandson. If it is something I normally do not use, I skip it. Plus I normally have coupons to use.
I did get the K cups Starbucks. My husband uses them. The sale price was $12.99 and I had a coupon that took it down to $11.99 per box. This is just as cheap and cheaper than some stores in my area. So, to me that gift card was free and I saved. It all depends on the area in which you live.

GREAT find on the Legos! The only one ours had on clearance was Star Wars. My mom checked her Target and they also only had Star Wars, though a different one. The rest are all full price here. Boo! lol

DS and I went to 2 other Targets today (well, 3, but one was still at 30-50%). We got a Wi-Fli Helicopter, some girly (Littlest Pet Shop?) remote control car, Transformers Mega Block type thing (don't think they're actually Mega Blocks, but something else I can't remember), Pokemon battle thing, Grave Digger remote truck. We didn't really need any more presents, but I'm glad we got a couple of things.

jealous that you guys found legos! All mine had was mostly crap, but lucky for one of my kids one of her favorite things now is zoobles (crap) so I got a few of them. And a paper jamz guitar and amp. 70% made things cheap. But really mostly it was terrible and I am sure will go to 90% off! (still won't buy it!)

Nice find on the Legos. I am never lucky enough to find any left at my Target.

I had decided that I wasn't going to buy during the toy clearance this year. I still have a few things from last year and the kids really and truly don't need more toys. BUT....I was there buying a birthday gift and saw that the keyboards were marked down to $9 and grabbed one for DS3 for Christmas. I also saw a big monster truck marked to $5 and figured I'd give that to DN for his 4th birthday.

I ended up swinging by Target with the kids last night, and they were picking out all the same stuff I'd already gotten, so I let them have a great deal of it last night--most of the lite-sprites and all of the zoobles... they've been playing with them (and each other) non-stop since last night... so I'm pretty happy... I got to finish reading my book!!!:rotfl: Hopefully the "newness" will hold out through tomorrow when my niece is coming over... DD5 knows I bought her the tree of lite, but I said she can't have it until her room is clean... and even THAT is not enough motivation... :lmao:

But yesterday I was able to get a second play-wonder doll, so those are tucked away along with a playdoh set and some littlest pet shop that the girls don't know about. DD8 was asking if I'd gotten her a tiger, and, actually, it turns out one of the sets DOES have a tiger (coincidence)... I'm thinking the LPS will be for her birthday in October and the dolls will be for Christmas...

I was in Target last night and decided to check out what was left and the entire sale aisle was zoobles and some other girly toys. My one ds found a Lego Minotaurus (sp?) game for $7.48 and was super excited since he had $8 to spend.
I found a ton of Lego POTC Black Pearls, but they were full price :sad1:

I was able to get 3 diffrent sets of black and White pet shops with the Blyth dolls for under 20.00. I saved over 45.00. Both of my girls love there LPS, Wish I was able to get the walkables but they were gone.

I only had a little left over in my budget after grocery shopping... It SHOULD have gone in my Disney fund, but I swung by the toy section and got a Tink and Glimmer set for PB for $4.46 (reg $15.49) and two Cars sets (pit stop launchers McQueen for $3.88 reg $12.99 and Action Agents Finn Missile for $2.08 reg $6.99) for Jelly.

I stopped by my Target(s) and got a few nice things the other day. A Hexbug glow in the dark set for 75% off, and some My LIttle Pony Stuff for 75% off. Early Christmas shopping! Yes!

Went to a different Target and got a bunch more stuff. Bunch of squinkie sets, BIG LPS set, more Cars stuff : D

Target clearance was awesome in my area until about 3 years ago. Now I see racks and racks of clothes that sit for months at 30% off. Same with toys, housewares and health/beauty. :confused3 Not sure what happened. They just stopped doing the 75%-90% off. In fact, I haven't seen even 50% off for at least a year!
