So, our trip, although VERY short was filled with pixie dust and magic!!! When we arrived for check in at the Grand Floridian at 9:00 am this past Sunday, we were given a HUGE surprise...We were upgraded from garden view to CONCIERGE level in the Royal Palms section of the main building!!!!! It was truly appreciated and totally unexpected! After being escorted to the concierge level and shown around, we received a text saying our room was ready. Our room was on the 4th floor, directly above Gasparilla's, overlooking the 7 Seas Lagoon and Cinderella's Castle. It was breathtaking!
We enjoyed brunch at Narcoossees, which was fabulous, and time by the pool, before heading over to the MK for
MNSSHP.
Before going to the party however, I stopped by concierge to see if they could help me with 1 minor problem...I was unable to snag a FP for the Mine Train, and I wanted to see if they could help...Well, they did!!!!! I now had 4 FP's before the party even began...We were able to ride Mine Train, Peter Pan, Pirates and the Jungle Cruise before show time, and enjoy a relaxed dinner at Columbia Harbour House. It's been on my list to try for awhile, but had never made it to before this past weekend...Well, let me tell you, I'm so glad we were able to dine there. It was very good. I had the lobster roll and it was delicious.
MNSSHP was a lot of fun. The ride lines were incredibly short, the candy was plentiful and those lines moved quickly, and the parade and fireworks were spectacular. The only lines that stayed consistently long all night were those to see certain characters. The crowds overall, were minimal. We were also able to have a few magic shots taken.
Breakfast at Olivia's the next morning was great. We did a little shopping in Disney Springs, grabbed a Starbucks, and headed over to Coronado Springs. We wanted to check it out, since I just made reservations there for 4 nights in July...LOVED IT!!!!
The trip was short, but extremely sweet and I'm counting down the days until July...
