DH, DD(9), and I are getting excited about our upcoming trip! On our first trip we brought our nephew with and had four to ride the attractions. I am trying to think of which rides the 3 of us can do together without one of us in the seat behind, lots of laughs! Both my husband and I are excited to see DD's reactions on the rides she was too young to go on last time! Thanks for any tips!

We are a family of 3. We have to split up for so few rides. Here are a few I know off the top of my head we had to split for Peter Pan, Buzz, RnRRC, and Barnstormer.

For 2 adults and a child-- you can fit Haunted Mansion (this would be too tight for 3 adults), and Big Thunder (DS is almost 12 and went through a growth spurt-- we had to split for this one last month). I think Splash is really only 2- Possibly 3 if you have 2 smaller kids and an adult.

The following rides can accomodate three side by side. Any marked with an asterik means that it might depend on the size of you, your husband, and your daughter. :)

Magic Kingdom:

Jungle Cruise
Pirates of the Carribean.
Aladdin's Magic Carpets*
The Country Bear Jamboree
The Hall of Presidents
The Haunted Mansion*
It's A Small World (may not be open when you go)
Peter Pan*
Dumbo*
Snow White's Scary Adventures*
Cinderella's Carousel
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh*
Mickey's Philharmagic
The Mad Tea Party
Tommorowland Transit Authority (if you can't fit three side by side, one can sit across - you'll see each other)
Astro Orbiter*
Stitch's Great Escape
The Carousel of Progress
Magic Kingdom Railroad

Epcot:

Spaceship Earth*
Universe of Energy
Mission Space
Living with the Land
Test Track
Maelstrom
El Rio de Tiempo
Journey Into Your Imagination
Honey, I Shrunk the Audience
Body Wars (I don't think this will be open when you go)

Disney Studios:

Tower of Terror
The Great Movie Ride
Indiana Jones Stunt Spectaular
Star Tours
Muppet Vision 3D
The Backlot Tour
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire
The Voyage of the Little Mermaid

Animal Kingdom:

It's Tough to Be A Bug
Primeval Whirl
Triceratop Spin*
Dinosaur
Kilamanjaro Safari
Tarzan Rocks
Festival of the Lion King
Pocahontas and her Forest Friends

I'm sure I'm forgetting some. The most notable exceptions are all of the Magic Kingdom Mountains (Big Thunger MIGHT let you do 3 in a car, but I seriously doubt it), and the Rock 'n Roller Coaster. Those are really the only ones I can think of that can accomodate 3 side by side.

Adding to Snacky's excellent post...

Me (6'1" 225lbs), Wife (5'2" 110lbs) Daughter (6yrs, 4'0" 50lbs) can fit three across on everything Stacky noted except:

Dumbo (Way too tight of a fit for the three of us)
Astro Orbiter (Now THAT would be funny to see us try!)
Aladdin (must sit two in front, one in back)
Primeval Whirl (same thing)

Although Stacky notes it as an exception, we DO fit just fine three across on Big Thunder.

Hope this helps.

One more note as I re-read. The three of us also ride 3 across on Splash Mountain.
