We are doing the following:
1 night swan - now a night arrival due to rescheduled flight
4 nights BWI CL
3 nights CR
we will be using a town car service From the airport.
we were thinking maybe dropping off bags with the town car service at BWI the Night Before we check in, and then drive over to Swan with just bring a small carryon with one days clothes/toiletries etc.

Will they let us do that?

Trying to find an easy logical way to not have to worry about bags that first morning. I are looking for an alternative to having the swan transfer them. We are thing of going to BWI early, checking in, maybe grab CL breakfast, then head to MK From BWI. we were planning on going toMK straight from Swan, but since Swan does not have Disney buses anymore We are looking at alternative plans.

So I know that someone recently posted on the swan/dolphin thread about great luggage service to Disney resorts-

As far as leaving bags at BWI before your actual check in day, I would call Disney but I suspect the answer is probably no.

If you decide against using Swan's luggage transfer, I think your idea of an early BWI check in is the way to go. Just head over using the town car service with your bags, leave them at bell services, go about your day and they'll be waiting for you when you get back from the parks. Correct, bus service from Swan and Dolphin is available but will only take you to the TTC, not the bus depot like it used to.

we only have town car for swan arrival day. We were going to drop off bags the day before we check in at BWI, if they let us. Was wondering if anyone has done that before.

Will you have a ton of luggage? Personally, I would consider, if you are physically able, simply walking your luggage over to BWI in the AM, checking in, eating CL breakfast and heading to MK. Otherwise, I would have the Swan transfer the luggage. I wouldn't want to show up at BWI the night before only to find you can't leave your luggage there.

2 large rolling 4 wheeled hard shell suitcases, hubby’s camera equipment bag, and 1 maybe 2 full sized backpacks. We might also have a smaller rolling bag too. Hubby is an overpacker.

That was our plan, to walk it over...but hubby was looking for alternatives. We originally were staying at another CLhotel, but their CLis not going to be open...so that changed everything.

It's not a far walk you could head out the back of swan and walk over on the bridge to the boardwalk. That doesn't sound too bad but if you really don't want to mess with it, call the Swan to check if they'll do luggage transfer.

No. You cannot check you bags with bell services a day early. You are not considerd a guest until check-in day and cannot use amenities. Plus there is a whole liability/security issues about handling luggage for someone not actually at the resort.

But Disney does do luggage transfer from S&D and Disney resorts for split stays.

It's not a long walk. I would consider simply walking everything over.

Since your flight is now at night, you might consider staying at the hotel that is in the airport (Hyatt I think) and then using the town car service the next morning to get to BWI. Otherwise, it's a short enough walk between the Swan and BWI to walk your luggage over yourselves, even if you make 2 trips.

I'm not sure how Bell Services would know you aren't a registered guest of the resort that first night if you were to drop your bags then. Typically, they just take your bag, put a tag on it and give you the other half, and then store it. My guess is that PP is correct in that it wouldn't technically be permissible since luggage storage is an amenity for guests only, but I'm not sure how they'd know. To be clear, I'm not suggesting you should try it, just thinking out loud.

Since you have more than just two rolling suitcases, I would say take an Uber or Lyft if you're not keen on walking everything over. Uber would be less than 5 minutes, very inexpensive, and would drop you off at the front of BWI where Bell Services is. I agree that the walk between the two resorts is short, but you would have to walk through BWI to get to the front which makes it a little longer, and when you're schlepping a bunch of stuff in possible heat or rain, its not the easiest thing.

We are arriving at 6pm. Our flight keeps getting loved later. We might revise plans and switch to the airport hotel if it gets any later. i am platinum Marriott and he is high status at Hyatt. We might just stay at the Regency, we have 2 free nights. We were /are using points for the Dolphin.

I would use the Swan luggage transfer or call BW and ask about the luggage. I’ve sent Amazon packages down before my trip and they have held them for me even though I am not a guest at the time the packages arrive, so I’m not convinced they would deny your luggage holding request…..but I’m not sure they’d allow it either.

Actually, honestly, I’d do what someone else suggested. I’d book the MCO Hyatt the night you arrive and cancel your swan. Then have the towncar pick you up early the next morning and take you and your luggage directly to BW, grab breakfast and head to MK.

that was always plan b, but because we have 2 free nights at the Hyatt we were planning on using them in NYC for a long weekend, and use just one night with points at the Dolphin.
