1. If you split your stay between 2 resorts can you keep the points from resort stay 1 to use while at resort 2 if you have some banked?
2. Can you get the dining package if you have a room res. but not tickets from DW? (We got ours form Mapleleaf)
3. At sit down restraunts do kids get the kids meal and a dessert?

Thank you for your answers-trying to see if this is a good deal for us.

It is my understanding that the MYW dining plan must be part of a package which includes park tickets. However, the park tickets do not need to match your length of stay. If you split your resorts, I believe you would actually have to buy two separate packages to get the dining plan--I don't think they can carry over. Yes, the kids do get dessert!

I dont think you have to include park tixs on your package to add the dining plan. You just need to be staying at a disney property. THis is how I understand the dining package. ::MinnieMo

I called CRO early in our planning this year and asked this question. The answer was that the dinning credits end at midnight on the day you check out of a resort. They view changing resorts has two separate stays with regards to the dinning plan so the only way I was told I could get it if we switched hotels was to purchase another package with at least a one day park ticket for all of us. That meant at least an additional $200 dollars if we switched resorts. In our case we were going to stay 4 days at WL and then 3 at BC but the new pricing model made it so we decided to just stay at WL for the 7 nights.

I believe that you have to have at least one day's worth of park tickets to be eligible for the dining plan.
