3 Princesses Hit the Parks!-A 2/13 Girls Trip TR!*Update 6/19, pg 23-The End!*

I wish I could be back in WDW right now too. :(

Now that I have finally seen new Fantasyland I can comment on the Little Mermaid ride. It really was amazing! I loved it!

Cute princess vinylmation...my sister has that one!

What an amazing sunset from the Poly! Wow!

That Ariel bag is absolutely adorable. If only we all had super deep pockets. *sigh*

I have to agree with you on Space Mountain. It does feel like you could literally fly out of the car and I can't put my hands in the air because I always feel like I might hit something. :upsidedow Still, its a great ride.

I don't blame you for passing on Astro Orbiter. I always want that ride to be way cooler than it actually is.

Sorry you were missing Brandon. Do you have your next trip planned? I honestly forget. I know F&W must be in the works.

I think closing out the night with the grim grinning ghosts is a great idea. :thumbsup2

LOVE all the beautiful Poly pictures!!! :cloud9:

Hope things are going okay/getting better for you. Sounds like a rough time! :grouphug:

What beautiful sunset pictures!!! AHHH. :cloud9:

Okay, so I just skipped a chunk of your update because I was scared I would see a New Fantasyland picture! I swear, when I get back from my trip (which we don't need to talk about yet) I'm gonna go back and read these updates that I missed. :thumbsup2

Not riding Astro Orbiter was a good choice! Honestly that ride scares me. Sorry you were missing Brandon!

Jen, caught up again.

First, I'm sorry you are having some personal stuff going on and hope it gets better soon.

Love the sunrise/sunset pictures.

Sounds like a great night at the MK.

You were really getting a lot done during the night at MK...:woohoo:

The Harvey Bags are really cute..:goodvibes I think I remember seeing about four different selections....:scratchin

I've seen the Astro Orbitor described as the ride that looks like a kiddie ride but eats adults...:rotfl:

Sorry you were missing Brandon...:(

Hope all is going well...

Another great day! That purse is cute, but I am just not into the harveys. I guess i don't know enough about them, but they look too plain for the money they cost ....but I do have a slight Dooney obssession.

That Ariel bag is gorgeous!
Great wait times around MK! I also feel like I'm going to fling right out of Space Mountain! :rotfl2:
Aww sorry you were missing Brandon. I can understand certain things triggering it, I would definitely be like that too.
That Vinylmation could be the one to make me break down and buy one... sooooo cute!

Isn't it? I want one!!

Haha, SM is so much fun, but it's also scary!

Some things made me miss Brandon a lot, but usually calling or even just texting him made me feel better! :thumbsup2

I love that Vinylmation!

You always take such gorgeous pictures of the castle and anything, really!!! (Envious) :)

Awesome not having to wait for anything except space mountain!!!
We always go on people mover- it's a definite must do!!!! And your picture was awesome!

We missed haunted mansion because it was down when we had the chance to ride it :( oh well! We are set to be going in Oct, so I know we will have time then!

We need a teleporter to take us to disney right now!!!! :)

Thank you! :goodvibes

The Peoplemover is the best! It was great not having to wait for anything that night!

I don't think I've ever seen the Haunted Mansion not open! That's so strange! You definitely have to ride it in October to make up for it!

Sigh. I know. I need to be there. I feel like I'm going crazy!

LOVE that Vinylmation!

Thank you! Isn't it cute! :cool1:

I wish I could be back in WDW right now too. :(

Now that I have finally seen new Fantasyland I can comment on the Little Mermaid ride. It really was amazing! I loved it!

Cute princess vinylmation...my sister has that one!

Yep. It's just getting worse and worse every day!

Isn't the Little Mermaid ride amazing? I can't believe people complained about it in the beginning! :confused3

I love that Vinylmation, so cute!

I think closing out the night with the grim grinning ghosts is a great idea. :thumbsup2

Isn't it? I need to stay at the Poly, just for the sunsets!

I love that Ariel bag, I want one!! They're just so expensive!

Haha, I never even think about putting my hands up on SM, not because I'm afraid of hitting something, but because I'm afraid I'll fly out! Then I think "well would I die if I flew out of here or just get really hurt?" :rotfl2: Haha, I'm morbid sometimes!

Ugh, I can't stand the Astro Orbiter! It's fun for about a second, then it just gets nauseating!

Well, as of now, we're going the week after Thanksgiving, so no Food and Wine this year. But everything is so up in the air, I'm not sure we'll be going at all! It all depends, my life is a mess right now!

It was, I love the Haunted Mansion!

Uh, no. I never mind seeing any pictures of my beautiful Poly! :goodvibes

I love Space Mt. , but like you , I can always pass on Astro Orbiter!

Cute bag, and beautiful pictures of the castle reflected in the water! :)

Yay! I'm glad you liked them! I want to stay there soooo bad! Hopefully in 2 years for our 5 year wedding anniversary!

Ugh, Astro Orbiter is the worst! Well maybe not the worst, but it's just not fun! :rotfl:

Thank you!

LOVE all the beautiful Poly pictures!!! :cloud9:

Hope things are going okay/getting better for you. Sounds like a rough time! :grouphug:

Thank you!

And thank you again! Yeah I'm going through a rough time right now, but hopefully things will be better soon! It's just job stuff, while it's important and everything, it's not the end of the world! Just super stressful, that's all!

I love that Ariel bag! So cute!

I can see why you wanted that Vinylmation. Its so cute!

Isn't it? I love it! I hope they still have them when I go back, I might splurge on one! :cool1:

I love that Vinylmation! :lovestruc

Thank you!

Ugh I'm sorry, I forgot to warn you, I feel like such a jerk! :faint: I don't think I put very much in from New Fantasyland though, so you didn't miss that much! I'm so glad you're finally going to see it soon!

I'm not afraid of Astro Orbiter, I just feel sick on it! :rotfl2: Not many rides make me feel sick, but that one does!

Thanks, it's strange being on vacation without your husband! :confused3

Jen, caught up again.

First, I'm sorry you are having some personal stuff going on and hope it gets better soon.

Love the sunrise/sunset pictures.

Sounds like a great night at the MK.

Yay!

Thank you! It's not really personal, it's just job stuff, things just are not going well right now and I'm super stressed about it! I hope it gets better soon too! Sometimes it seems like it's going to be ok, other times I feel like I'm going to be jobless soon! We'll see! :confused3

Thank you!

It was a great night at MK! :cool1:

Gorgeous sunset!!!

Sounds like a great MK evening! What a cute Vinyl!!! :goodvibes

Wasn't it? I love Disney sunsets!

It was a great night! I love that Vinyl, so glad I bought it!

You were really getting a lot done during the night at MK...:woohoo:

Yeah, it was a fun night in MK, we did a lot! :cool1:

Aren't they? Yeah they had a few princesses to choose from, they were all adorable! I loved the Villains on the back!

Haha, that's a great way to describe the Astro Orbiter! :rotfl:

Thank you, yeah, I missed Brandon a lot during this trip, but when I felt sad I just called or texted him and then I was ok! :thumbsup2

Thank you! :goodvibes

It was a great day! I'm not really into those purses either, but I LOVED these princess ones! I don't think they should be that expensive either! I love the Dooney's too, they are adorable! :cool1:

Thank you!

Ugh I'm sorry, I forgot to warn you, I feel like such a jerk! :faint:

Um... PLEASE DO NOT feel like a jerk! You are not obligated to warn me! Hahha don't even worry about it! I've kinda become a pro at skipping around on updates! :thumbsup2

Um... PLEASE DO NOT feel like a jerk! You are not obligated to warn me! Hahha don't even worry about it! I've kinda become a pro at skipping around on updates! :thumbsup2

Haha, well, I still feel bad! I'm just glad you will be seeing it soon so you can stop skipping, lol!

I will warn you...the next update I do for my other TR, the November one, you should skip! :thumbsup2 But the next few for this one will be New Fantasyland -free! :rotfl:

Saturday, 2/23

Saturday morning, I had to wake up kind of early because I was ready to go off on a solo adventure! Diane didn't want to do any parks on this day, because she wanted to rest for the marathon the next day, and go to bed early, so I was going to hit the parks alone all day. She said she was going to take Caitlin to some different resorts, and maybe in the pool. I, on the other hand, had some magic hours to get to. Morning magic hours at DHS, to be precise! So I was out the door before 8:00 to go down to the buses. Diane was already up and she told me she might go to the Wilderness Lodge later, when Caitlin woke up, so if I was finished, I could meet them there.

Of course, I had to get a sunrise picture over Bay Lake!

I went down to the bus area, which was surprisingly small for a deluxe resort, but then I remembered, oh yeah, they have the monorail, so you only need buses for 2 other parks! I got there so early that I was alone at first, but soon the whole waiting area filled up. Soon a bus came and we all crammed in and we were on our way to Hollywood Studios!

The first thing I did when I got there was race to get a Fast Pass for Toy Story Mania! I don't remember what my return time was, but I remember thinking it was kind of late for it being so early in the day. So I tucked it away for later and went in the direction of the Tower of Terror. Which was my whole reason for being there, really! I just wanted to ride it a few times and then leave. If I got to do something else, great, but if not, all I cared about was the Tower of Terror!

From the walk over...someday I'd like to eat there, but it's never been a top priority!

And there it is!! Yay!!! :cool1:

I ended up going on the Tower of Terror twice! By the time I got off the second ride, the wait time was already really long! I was hoping to go on again, but I wanted to wander around and maybe do something else. But not before taking a few more pictures of my beloved tower!

I checked the wait time for RnRC, too long, so I just went back up the street to see what else I could possibly do.

I thought about the drawing class, but I didn't feel like wasting a half an hour drawing. So I figured I'd just loop around the park, and if I found something to do, great, if not, I'd just take pictures and head out whenever I got bored.

I still just don't like the Streets without the Osborne Lights! It looks creepy!

I went to the Muppets area, because one of my coworkers wanted a Swedish Chef doll, but they didn't have any, which was annoying, because I wanted to buy one for myself! They had them on my last trip!

While I was walking around the Muppet area, Diane texted me and said they were having breakfast at the Wilderness Lodge. I said I was pretty much finished at DHS so maybe I could meet them there. She said that was fine, they would just hang out and wait for me, so I started to make my way out of the park.

Gertie!

When I got to the Wilderness Lodge bus stop, I noticed one of the shiny new Disney buses, so I took a picture and put it on Instagram.

It's nice, but it's just so...I don't know, boring? I like the old ones better! Ah well, they're just buses, but still, why does Disney insist on changing everything?

It was just one other family and I waiting for a bus, and it seemed like it took forever! Finally the bus pulled up and we all got on, and were whisked away to the Wilderness Lodge, listening to that wonderful wilderness-y, western music they play on the bus! I LOVE it! I need that for my Ipod haha! :thumbsup2

I got off the bus and was overcome with happiness! I didn't think I'd get to see my home, the Wilderness Lodge, on this trip, so I was thrilled to be there! I went in and saw Diane and Caitlin in the lobby, where Caitlin showed me her latest Vinylmation:

I was starving, since I didn't have breakfast yet, so we went down to Roaring Forks so I could grab something. I got a croissant sandwich, which I LOVE from Roaring Forks! I don't know why, they have them all over the Disney resorts, but there is something extra yummy about the ones at the WL!

When we finished eating, Caitlin wanted to show me some music boxes they had in the shop, so we headed over there, while Diane did something else...maybe she just sat in the lobby? I don't remember haha! Good trip reporting right there, people!

While we were in the store, I was telling Caitlin how I was planning to go to Epcot later alone, and then the next morning, while Diane was doing her race, we would go to Epcot together and do whatever she wanted. She said that was fine, so I figured everything was good for the rest of the day! We were planning to hit the pool, maybe go somewhere for dinner, and then they would stay in the room so Diane could go to bed early for her race and I'd go to Epcot. Sounds good, right? :thumbsup2

We finished looking at everything, so we went to find Diane, who was ready to go back to Bay Lake Tower. So we went outside to take the boat back to the Contemporary, and I had to take some pictures of my Wilderness Lodge before I left, I love it there SO much!

It's just so perfect! :lovestruc

When we got back to Bay Lake Tower, I had to do some laundry, so I went down to the laundry room by myself to do that, and I think Caitlin and Diane just hung out in the room? We did go to the pool that afternoon, which was nice, but it was cold! It was strange, because it was pretty warm that day, but we were freezing in the pool! Caitlin went down the slide about 100 times and Diane and I tried it, but we were kind of hoping to get in the hot tub at some point! We were freezing! Diane and I both said the pool at AKL was much better. I mean, the pool at BLT is nice, but AKL is a lot bigger...and warmer! :rotfl:

We got out and they went back to the room, and I grabbed my laundry on the way back. I think we all took showers and hung out for a while, and then we had to decide what to do for dinner!

Up next...dinner at DTD and another solo trip!

I can certainly understand why your sister would want to take it easy the day before the marathon. Makes sense. How nice that you all got to meet up at one of your favorite resorts - WL. It's just so gorgeous, isn't it? Love the pics.

Glad you all got to enjoy some Disney boat transportation.

Breakfast looks really yummy!

Hooray for riding your tower! The Swedish chef doll sounds adorable! Too bad they didn't have it.

Did they change all the busses? I guess you wouldn't know hahah, but I've seen a couple pictures of the new busses but I guess they were all from around the time of your trip, and since then, I haven't seen or heard anything else!

Yay for riding Tower of Terror! That ride is awesome. I really like the picture of the flags outside.

The new buses ARE really boring! I agree, the older ones are so much more fun looking.

Ugh, I wanted to go over to Wilderness Lodge this trip but we didn't make it. Oh well, if I'm there in December I will definitely have to go to see their decorations!

Sounds like a great start to your day!!!!

I have yet to use the buses as means of transportation. I need to ride a bus at least once!! :) just to say I did!! LoL

Boo to the pool being so cold! Weird!!!!
