3 Points to trade

I'm brand new to this I have 3 points that I will lose in June. How does one buy, or sell thier extra points ot buy the extra ones they need???

If you have extra points, you could bank them into your next use year, but there are banking deadlines which escape me right now. If you wanted to, you could rent them out on the rent/trade board, but I am not sure how well just 3 points would do. You can not "buy" more points from DCV to just use this use year. If you bought more, you would pay full price and get usage every year. You could also rent the points you needed from another member and ask that the points be transferred to your account for use. You could also do the opposite and rent points from another member but transfer your 3 points to them and have them make a reservation for you.

Again, you can not "sell them" but you can rent them on the Rent/Trade section of this board. Here is a link:

Since it is only 3 points you will have to find a member to transfer them too, since 3 points is not enough to book a full night.

We need 3 points, but unfortunatly our trip is slated for July....

Head over tot he rent trade board (the above poster linked ya) and see what happens.

If the points cannot be banked then it sounds like they may have already been banked once or are borrowed points. If so, you probably won't be able to get rid of them. Banked and borrowed points cannot be transferred. And, since 3 pts is not enough to book a full day, you really can't rent them either.

The only options I can think of would be to combine them with current year's points or borrow points from next year so that you have enough to rent out a full day's stay. Probably not worth the effort. The most you could get for those 3 points would be about $30. Just write it off.
