Besides the itinerary are there any big differences between the Dream 3 and 4 night?

TIA

We did a three night last spring. I really felt like it was not enough time and we really didn't have time to enjoy the ship. I would go for the four night if you can.

That's exactly what I am thinking... Thanks for the input... If we did the 3 night I was not going to plan to get off on the island to have the extra time on the boat but idk if that would make a difference.

I have done a 3 night and then a back to back, four night/three night. The whole atmosphere is much more relaxed on the 4 night. The three night just goes way too fast, you barely unpack and then it is time to put your bags out the last night. I won't do a 3 night ever again.

Thanks for your input... I am afraid that if we do the 3 night we will regret not having the extra night.

There is also a five day double dip offered a few times a year....but definitely do a four day if you can't do a five or seven :)

I say go with the 4 night. I just did a 5 night on the Dream last week and it went by way too fast. :)

I did see that but we are looking to go in December since we are already heading there for a week at WDW and the only 5 day are the holiday ones and they are way to much money...

Thanks for all the feedback I am def going to try and do the 4 night... But if I can't a 3 night is better than no nights. :)

We did a 4 night earlier this year and I wasn't crazy about the 4th day...The odd thing was, the "Day at Sea" was really a day PARKED at sea. Other cruises I've taken (other lines) are sailing during the day at sea days. It just feels better to be moving. As a result I booked a 3 day which I know will be short but it gives us an extra day in Orlando rather than parked in the middle of the ocean somewhere...I'll try to post back when that's done to compare the two.

Another vote for 4 instead of 3. But that's only if you can't afford 7 ;)

I had only ever done 7 night itineraries prior to my 4 night on the Dream. We knew it would be too short but it was all we could afford at the time. It BLAZED by. I can't imagine doing only 3 nights. That's technically only 2 1/2 days on the ship. My only complaint was we did little relaxing since there was so much we wanted to see and do.

4 nights minimum. Anything less isn't worth the money and effort. I'm saving for our next 7 night cruise and praying for GTY rates.

Do 4 days if you can. We are booked on a 3 day with a bunch of people because the husbands couldn't take much time off work and it's during the school year but it's not going to be enough time. My family will stay on the ship when we go to Nassau.

We just did the 5 day double dip on the Dream and loved it. I don't think our 'day at sea' was parked but we were definitely going really slow. I didn't notice any extra movement but I figured it was a good way to cut down on fuel. It seemed like we were coasting. I did like that because we were able to be on the top deck and not have it too windy up there.

Enjoy!

I did the 5 day double dip and was very bother by being "parked" at sea. My husband couldn't care less but part of the cruise experience for me is to be moving and watching the waves go by with the wind in my hair.

I have to take a 3 day for my next cruise because of scheduling constrants and I am kindof bummed about it. But hey - three days are better than no days.....:thumbsup2

really a 4 day has a parked day? strange never heard of that,, we recently got off a 3 day,, much too short but we were trying it out with our DD,, of course she LOVED it,, so we booked 4 day next time. I don't mind if we were going slower but not stopped?

We are doing a 3 day on the Dream. I know its a short cruise, but we are coupling it with a 4/5 day park trip prior to sailing.

We looked at doing it the other way around and shortening the park trip and doing a 4 day cruise, but couldnt justify the $$$. It would have cost us over $600 dollars to add a 4th day on the cruise, which of course is a sea day. The 4th day at WDW would only run us about $300 depending on which resort we pick. In my opinion, sea days are the bigest rip off in cruising. That is when they pull out all the stops to get you to spend extra $$$. You are trapped there on the ship, what else are you going to do besides shop and buy drinks. We try to just sit at the pool and relax, but with kids that rarely lasts long.

I know its going to be a short cruise, and we probably wont get enough done, but we just wanted a quick cruise. We are saing a 5 day on Carnival in November, and just got back from a 7 day trip to WDW in March. I hope the 3 day is a nice way to end our vacation.
