Hi All,
We are staying for 3 nights, as from tomorrow (rubbing it in LOL). This will be our 4th trip to DLP.

What I would ask is, if you were staying for 3 nights, which restaurants would you eat in ? Or, more to the point, which restaurants should we eat in ?

We don't have unlimited funds, so don't want to go for the most expensive venues. We have previously eaten in Cafe Mickey and Planet Hollywood. We may include PH but won't go back to CM (excellent restaurant, but expensive and we want to try something new).

So, 3 nights, 3 restaurants..........over to you !

Best regards,
Russ.

What type of food do you like?

I'm obviously going to mention The Blue Lagoon as it's our favourite restaurant in the world - lots on the menu but especially good if you like seafood. It's not the cheapest but worth making an effort to visit for the gresteat atmosphere of any restaurant anywhere - you sit at tables on a Caribbean Beach in romantic lighting and can see the boats from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride go past - just amazing!

We also like King Ludwigs - pretty reasonable and good sized portions. The Oktoberfest Chicken is a favourite of ours.

For a cheaper in park option there is Pizzeria Bella Notte in Fantasyland which does some really nice Italian dishes and specialises in Buitoni Pizzas - lovely.

I like all food. It is my demise and that of the waistline of my trousers !
Blue Laggon is under consideration. Any idea of prices (on average) for two people ?

We have tended to avoid "in-park" dining in general, but only because we eat well at breakfast and don't need anything until the evening. Then we tend to find ourselves in the Village for a meal. We may try Anettes this time around.

So, Blue Lagoon probably makes it onto the shortlist...........keep 'em coming !

Not being very discriminating eaters we tend to go always for Annette's and the Rainforest Cafe in the Village though we also liked King Ludwig's. The Lucky Nugget in Frontierland is a good buffet with characters and we've always been pleased with that.

Rainforest Cafe is one I'd like to try - the menu doesn't look anything special but the atmopshere certainly does.

Never been too sure of the Rainforest Cafe, probably because of the menu....and after all, it's the food we go there for.

We always go to Plaza Gardens for their Buffet! I think it's about 30 euros each... drinks are extra, DS and DD like it there. There are loads of places that come highly recommended like, Lucky Nugget or Blue Lagoon, but we always seem to stick to the same places, really, I should be more adventurous and try somewhere else for a change.

PS... I'm really jealous that you're going tomorrow and I have to wait another 5 days!! Hope you have a fantastic time :goodvibes

I'd have both Blue Lagoon and Annettes on my shortlist. :)

Blue Lagoon, Annettes and probably Planet Hollywood I think is the final 3.

I would visit the three best restaurants in the whole world in the following order:

Walt's (you have to pay respect to the "Man of the last century") :worship: :worship:
Inventions (but only for charakters dinner!)
Blue Lagoon (great atmosphere)

We like Annettes and Cafe Mickey . I lke the food and the character interaction.

We are also inclined to do the tea in the plaza gardens and just have a sandwich in the evening.

Blue lagoon is VERY ROMANTIC ;we liked also Chef Mickey : lots of friendly characters !!! Don't remember where you are staying ... but I'd like to add the HUNTER'S GRILL at Sequoia lodge:it's quiet( I guess) and they serve delicious roasted meats on giant skewers.
Last Xmas we shared one menu and just a salad: still plenty of food for the two of us !!!! and we loved the theme of US National parks.

ENJOY YOUR TRIP !!!!!
