3 night bahamian cruise

Is it worth it? I would like to take my daughter who is 9 nine maybe within the next year. I really don't have the money for the 7 nights but I would like to take her for the experience of it. How is it? Any feedback is appreciated.

In a word...YES. We have done two 7 nights as well as one 3 night and had a great time on all of them.

My sister and I took my two boys (11 and 13) in November for the three night. It was the best I could do for getting away, and I wanted to take them before they were too old to enjoy it. I am glad I did, but now I want to go back for a whole week for myself!

Of course it will be worth every mintue of it! Sure, the cruise will go by quickly but you'll have all those wonderful memories to cherish.

The ship is wonderful, and of course everyone wants to stay on as long as possible (so the 7 night is very popular among most DIS members), but the 3 night offers you the BEST OF THE BEST.

Really, you get to eat at every one of the rotational restaurants, you see every one of the Disney themed plays/shows, and you get to visit Castaway Cay. Those are the highlights of every cruise.

Now I would suggest that you stay on board in Nassau and don't lose precious ship time there. If you really want to get off, just go for a little while. The ship is really the highlight of the trip, and on the Castaway Cay day you will be on the beach most of the day.

Anyway, short answer: YES it is worth it!

We loved it..it is short and the time flies, but we loved it.

We took our daughter (22), home on leave from AF as a surprise.

I booked two days before we left...we all loved it.

My DH and I also did the 3-night back in January. We loved it. It was great and was really a good choice for us for our first ever cruise. The only draw back is that time goes by SO fast. But I think that you would really love it!
