3 Grannies, Disney Dancing & Deviltry! Oh, my!!

Marie, you could try to switch the room to an AP rate - if available, you could then add the DP (no tkts required on the reservation). You could keep checking up to 72 hours prior to arrival. If it does become available be prepared to pay in full when you change it because it will become a pkg. :)

Although, I would crunch the numbers before changing because the DP has gone up so much in price that it will probably be more cost effective without it. ::yes::

Rosie you can go to www.disneyworld.com sign in and look for the link to annual pass offer. Have your pass handy because the first time you'll have to register the pass number...then you can check ap rates right on line. It is super easy!

Hi Christine our room already is an AP rate discounted room/ when I booked I remembered Rosie had an AP so they gave me the AP rate

But each person in the room has to add it right?? And I can't remember the cost

Each person in the room would need the DP. I don't know the cost but it will be on the website. I would check but I'm on my phone and it's such a pain to check anything on the Disney website from my phone. Sorry. :)

I think how we want to order and share at Sanna plus using the TIW discount, it'll work out better to just pay out of pocket. Plus you can get the discount at raglan road too, right Linda?
Adding anything else to our room at the moment will just be a big headache -- I'm leaving well enough alone!!! Lol

Yes sometimes hands off is the best policy! :rotfl2: The tables card does work at Raglan Road. And thanks for so positive that I'll be able to make the trip! :)

Yes, not more tweaking!! :goodvibes

BTW, the DP for when we are there is $55.59 per night.

And sharing sounds good... I was looking at the Sanaa menu on the weekend and have printed all the menus for the places we are eating (or thinking of eating :))

Then you can ask them to add the DP - it will switch to a package and the deposit cannot usually be transferred. They would switch it to a pkg, refund your deposit and it would need to paid in full at the time of booking. :thumbsup2

Two meals / Sanna and RR with a couple QS will probably be close to breaking even/ or less than $112 I'd pay for ddp for 2 days I think :) probably not worth the headache to collect the money from my friend for her share or add onto the room at this point/ plus there's exchange rate in there for me if I put anything on my credit card.
I'll leave well enough alone now! :) yes..... Probably a good idea!!!!! ;)

NOooooo (*faint!!!!) I've finally got everything budgeted out.... NO WAY am I doing anything to change it!!! For the few $$ it "might" (but then again may not) save --- NOT worth the headache to change it. I'll bring cash for Linda's TIW discount :)

My first walk was very painful but the 2nd one was better. My PT friend is concerned that I'm losing a lot of my strength. For someone who has always been able to walk 7 miles without a thought having trouble with 1/2 mile is troubling. It's really not that I'm getting too tired it's that it hurts. I'm now worried .....

This was my predicament exactly, Linda. At home I walked 6 miles a day...when I tried to get back to that here, I injured my ankle by doing too much too soon. The trip seemed so far away then but as the days/weeks past I had to face I'd be taking a big chance of setting myself back by going. Even now, I am doing much better...but too much walking and the pain and burning returns.

The other day when I was seriously considering going again I went out the next day to walk...still cannot walk more than about 2500 steps before the pain returns. I don't mean lite pain either.

So please do be careful and extra wise. We do not heal as quickly as 5 or 10 years ago. I certainly do not mean this as negative...rather supportive of whatever decision you make.

I wore that boot from July until early November - only going without for short periods to test my ankle. Your back is even more serious than an ankle injury.

Still sending super positive and healing thoughts ...and loads of ISPD!

I think if you look at menus and what you would reslistically order, you'll find the DDP not worth the cost. :thumbsup2
