Day 2:
After a night of not sleeping well due to my cold we were up, showered & ready for breakfast at 7.30.
After filling ourselves with breakfast we were off to the Disneyland Park for what was left of EMH. After getting through security Mel remembered she left her purse back at the hotel. She went back after we arranged to meet her in the park. Lorraine & I headed for Buzz Laser Blast, this was walk on & we achieved level 3. I wasnt up to going on Space Mountain, as I felt rough. We decided to grab a hot drink to help my throat & sat people watching whilst waiting for Mel to get back.

Mel met us & by now the park was open so off we headed for BTM. We decided to Fast pass this as well as the return time was for 20 minutes time. Didnt have to use our park passes as a CM just handed 3 to me, bonus! We got to ride this at the back, which for this ride I feel is the best way.
Lorraine & Mel then headed for Phantom Manor which I decided to give a miss, so whilst they went on there I went in search of a birthday present for my nephew who turned 1 whilst I was away. We had decided to do all our major shopping on our last day, so we didnt have to carry the bags around. I did purchase a couple more pins though a 2009 one & a Mickey TOT. After meeting the others at Phantom Manor it was our FP time for BTM. After this we headed to Indiana Jones which was pretty much walk on. I hated this ride when it went backwards as it was really rough, however the ride is so much better the other way. Off we went to Pirates of the Caribbean, another walk on. As we came out we spotted Captain Jack Sparrow hiding in amongst the trees. Got a great photo with him & the 3 of us after asking the CM to take it, no scrum or anything (again its not on my camera). We grabbed some food from Victorias Lorraine had a Croque monsieur meal & I had the mushroom version I had crisps & Mickey Brioche & Lorraine had the salad instead of crisps for 11 each, the sandwiches were huge a very filling. I saved my brioche for later.
I was feeling a bit better so we headed to IASW for the one ride & no more, we only did this for Mels benefit as she has never been to Disney. We then made our way round to Buzz, I rode on my own & got level 4 the others got level 3. Went to Star Tours, another walk on followed by Space Mountain. Did have to laugh at the women who came off looking as white as the clothes she was wearing. Got to ride this at the front which was great.
It was nearly time for the parade so we got a good spot on Main Street whilst my cousin grabbed some drinks as it was so hot. Really enjoyed the parade, we were between 2 float stops & had the Toy Story army men come up to us & pose right in front of us but we didnt have the camera ready in time.
After the parade Lorraine & Mel grabbed an ice cream & we headed towards Pirates & Indiana Jones for another ride.
The park was closing soon so we waited to see Mickey at the Station as I have never seen him there before, however he never appeared so back to the hotel we went to get ready for 9.30 Buffalo Bills Wild West Show, we booked the tickets at City Hall during the day. I had my shareholders discount & I have a Nationwide credit card so they were £5 each cheaper then if I booked them in the UK.
Had a couple of drinks back in the room, I just happened to be using my phone when I notice the clock was now 40 minutes slow on the TV, good job too as we would have missed the show. We got there & queued to get in, we were Green Mountain & had great seats, at the top head on to the curtain. I will be the 1st to admit I was extremely wary when they added Mickey & friends to this but it was very good & doesnt spoil the show, we also had the chipmunks on our team so thats always good. The food was lovely & hot & drinks freely coming. The green team won, yay.
We were all flagging now so took a slow walk back to our room before settling in for the night.
