3 full days at DLR ... suggestions?

How did the DL Space Mountain compare to the WDW Space Mountain? I know it is probably blaspheme, but I think I am done with the WDW version. It is very jerky imho.

What about the Matterhorn? Rumor is it is pretty jerky too!
I find DL Space Mountain to be a smoother track than Matterhorn -- but neither bother me in terms of "jerkiness." I can't really compare DL Space Mountain to WDW Space Mountain (sorry!) as we so rarely visit MK.

Wow! We don't have plans for DLR until 2014. I hope the show is still there!

There's been rumors and plans to take away Aladdin every few years or so, but guests always protest too much, so then they opt to continue it indefinitely. (Last time they were thinking about moving it to the Dream & Fantasy when they were new, and instead developed Villains Tonight.)

I don't think you have anything to worry about, it should still be there in 2014.

So I'm at my desk (work) remembering good moments from our recent stay at the Grand Californian Villas and parks. To help remind me, I have perched my "take home" treat from the trip on a shelf just inches above my laptop: Duffy Bear dressed for Easter.

What a cheery little fellow! (Although, mine is cuter than the posted image.)

As for the DVC considerations ...

A/C: Ugh. We woke up overheated every night. Gotta figure out that override? (We were really surprised to be so warm at night. We live nearby and rarely think about indoor temps. At home we keep windows open and are generally quite comfortable without the use of either heat or air. How do we duplicate that "just open a window" sensation while at any Disney Resort?)

Glad to hear about your fun trip. Back on the DVC VGC Owners DIS thread somewhere there was a mention of the rooms being warm and someone posted an over ride solution... which I happened to make note of and save for our trip last November (never had to use it then)
So here it is for you:

I have not encountered one of these thermostats, but a solution was posted:
