$3 for $25 Restaurant Gift Certificates?

The offer expires on 4/30/04. I had gotten the offer in an email from restaurant.com and that's the date given in the offer. GC's are added all of the time so you may see some of those sold-out GCs back next week.

Some of these restaurant.com certificates can be found on ebay as well (in case anyone is unaware). I bought two for our Easter trip to Williamsburg. We had no trouble using them. I paid about $4 for both gc. I like that you print them right away rather than having to wait for them to be mailed. There are many that pop up in the Orlando search but I don't know most of the restaurants and we typically stay onsite for meals. I have seen the dinner shows listed many times (pirate's dinner, Arabian Nights).

On the main screen at restaurant.com - down the page just below the middle. There is a brown bar across the screen that has a box in it. It says, "Do you have a promotional code? Enter it here" in white letters. That is a busy page, isn't it?

(Sorry, in the time it took me to type this response, 3 other people had answered your question.....)

Tell me how do I find the restaurant.com coupons on ebay? I have searched but nothing comes up.. what do I put in the search box????

 Thanks

A belated thank you to Vmskids...I've been preoccupied so I haven't gotten back to check this for a while, but it looks as though I'm not the only one curious about this offer...and I surely intend to make use of it now that I know what to do!

Bless you for taking the time to post the discount code! I must confess I am so green when it comes to finding these things...where on earth did you find that magic discount code in the first place?

LOL..sometimes I think I'm on every e-mail list in the nation...but I never seem to see these offers unless I read these particular boards!

Once again, thank you for your generosity in taking your time to share the info, Vmskids and all the others of you who have responded in kind!

PS...I happen to be down here in Kissimmee until June 6th...and last night I went to Epcot to see The Nelsons (Flower Power Concert series in conjunction with the Flower and Garden festival)...they were wonderful! They sang many of my favorites..Mary Lou, Garden Party, Travelin' Man...lol...I cried. Tomorrow it's BJ Thomas (Raindrops keep Fallin' On My Head)...lol, can't wait for Arlo Guthrie!

Be careful on ebay as the ones sold there are usually nearing the expiration date. When you buy from restaurants.com you will usually get a 1 year expirations date.

We are new FL residents, so know few of these places.
But I can suggest Willie's Bar-B-Que if anyone happens to be in Winter Garden.
That is one of those homey, friendly, hole in the wall places that serves up good, hot food, and offers a good selection. :)
Their coupon is 50% off the food portion. And even without that, their prices are very reasonable.
I bought two of their coupons as we are regulars anyway! ;)

I bought two off Ebay and the expiratiion was one year from the date I paid. Both were directly from resturants.com, are you thinking of the Q&C vouchers, maybe?

Didn't read page 2, so forgive me if I repeat but :
Instead of looking under (WDW area) put in Lake Buena Vista and also Orlando, then you can also look at the whole state of Florida, you may find some restaurants in nearby towns that you hadn't thought of.
Even better than the $25 GC for $3, I got a few 50% off GCs for...$1.88! There is no upper limit, so you could potentially have a $100 meal for $51.88.

. . .with my $3 gift certificate. We paid a total of $13, which included a big tip. Afterward, we went next door to Blockbuster and rented a video with the coupon on the Community Board.

Watch out for restrictions, though. We had planned to eat a different place until I looked at the certificate. You had to have a minimum party of 4 and order at least 4 entrees. Since it was just dh, ds9 and me, that wasn't going to work.

Just bought a GC for club car and baskervilles both for $4.88!
It seems too good to be true. Hope there are no glitches.

Are these places difficult to get to from ASM?

FYI, we used GC's for Le Peep and for Havana's while we were at WDW last, and we called before we went, because we had 3 in our party, not 4, as stipulated in the GC. They were fine about it, and prorated the GC, so each of us got $6.25 off our meal. I would suggest calling the restaurant and getting the OK, though, instead of just showing up with the GC and expecting to get this deal - I poured lots of sugar down the phone line :teeth:

How was Le Peep's restaurant, especially interested with your thoughts if you went for breakfast. I just bought a $25 gift certificate from restaurant.com for $3.

The breakfast menu looked great.:wave2:

I checked today on some of the "out of stock" offers I had seen last Friday. Lo and behold, they were available again. Thanks for whoever posted about checking back. $100 of certificates for $12.

We ate there last Fall and it seems like it was between $60 and $70 for four of us. We used one of the restaurant.com certificates for 1/2 off and thought it was a bargain as we all stuffed ourselves and rolled out of there. I have teen boys so the dessert "buffet" table was a hit!

Hello,
I ordered a few certificates for friends and family in south Florida. I'm a skeptical type so I called the retaurants before I placed the order and confirmed that they do honor them. So far so good and I'll let you all know the results when they get used.

I got an email from Restaurants.com for this promotion. I used it to by my sister a certificate for her birthday, TODAY!

I love a local restaurant in town called the 57th Street Fighter. It's pretty expensive and the certificate is only for dinner but to take $25 off the bill is a GOOD thing!
