3 for 2 Rant

I think I'm becoming more cynical by the day! Last year I received a gift with a 3 for the price of 2 label still on it and was hurt that I wasn't worth a full priced gift, rather than happy that someone had been thoughtful enough to buy me Christmas present.

This year more shops are offering this deal and I can only think that the stock must be overpriced in the first place. And does anyone else find that they always manage to choose 3 items only to find that one isn't in the scheme once you get to the till?

Thanks for reading, I just needed a bit of a rant.

I know what you mean!,but if you shop around you can usually find the present you require at cheaper than the price some shops are charging anyway, thus making this 3 for 2 offer more expensive.

For instance woolworths are doing buy one CD and get a second for half price, but the cds are more expensive to start with!!,asda are doing one cd I required for £9.77 in woolworths is was £13.99!!.

Enough said LOL

BUT I did find a good bargain at WHSmith with their 2 for £20 offer!!

Don't get too stressed Libby - think this time next month it will all be over :)

This year I decided to take all the stress out of buying for crimbo pressies. I bought most of them in the US and the rest over the internet.
