Well, it's crunch time! We leave on Saturday for the Magic. This week has been full of cruise activity.
Sunday: made magnetic door signs
Got luggage from attic
Monday: made thank-you postcards for cms who are extra-special. We also made some from just my ds (4) to give special counselors in the club
Tuesday: Made iron-ons for pillowcases to get signed This took longer than I thought since the instructions say to wash seperately the first time. I have to get them out of the dryer this morning. Also went over cruise docs to make sure they were filled out properly. Gathered passports/bc's. Made a rough list of what to pack for each day for me. Last night we also went to the mall to check out formal gowns. They are so cheap right now! We also stopped into The Disney Store to get in the spirit. We got dd a cinderella dress to wear on formal night Suprisingly, the 2/3 fit her. She's not big for her age, so this was a pleasant surprise. My ds ran up to the CM and said, "Guess what? We're going on a Disney Cruise in 4 days!"
Wednesday: I'm off to drop off ds for his last day of preschool this morning. Luckily it's fall break tomorrow and Friday, so he'll be home to get packing done! I'm gonig to do most of my packing for myself and dd (21 months) today while the house is quieter. I've also got to drop off our form to get our mail held and go to bank for last minute deposits. I'm going to do some cleaning tonight so that we don't come back to a messy house. (Don't you hate that?)
Tnursday: finish packing for me and kids. make list of extras needed to pack (coloring books for plane, medicines, etc)
Friday: pack day bag, cosmetic bag go at 2:45 for manicure/pedicure!!!/ clean out refrigerator and do all that other last minute stuff Take dog to boarders
Friday night: RELAX! I always procrastinate and end up staying up until 2am the night before a trip. Not this time! I want to go to bed and dream Disney! We have to leave at 6am Saturday morning to go to airport, and I don't want to be exhausted!
That's what we'll be doing for the next 3 days!
