I need some advice: We are taking our second Disney cruise July 6th which really is our main vacation. Last summer after our cruise we stayed a few nights in the Cocoa Beach area before heading home. This year we want to extend the Disney magic a little longer, before heading home. So, I booked three nights at the CBR. We have never stayed there before. We have only stayed at the Boardwalk. We have used the Florida Resident discount, but this year the discount is not very much on the Boardwalk. We are not planning on going to the parks, but want to enjoy the amenities at the hotel, the pool, visit the Boardwalk area, go to DTD, etc.
The advice I need is help in deciding if I made the right choice in booking CBR. I have read a lot on this board about CBR, and the many differing opinions on it. Are we going to be disappointed in it if the only thing we have to compare it to is the Boardwalk Inn? Would it be better to book the YC or BC or Boardwalk Inn for two nights rather than three nights at the CBR?
This is just an add on trip, at the end of a fabulous cruise, so I suppose I will be happy wherever we go, but I thought those of you with more experience staying onsite might be able to offer an opinion on my best option.
