3 day visit to Disneyland in February

Now how about dining? Are there any places that you would recommend?

It really depends on what you're looking for. I'm a picky eater so I'm not much help. We usually eat at the same few places (although the menus have changed since the last time we were there so I don't know anymore.)

I think that the Pizza Port in Tomorrowland gives you the most food for your money. It's a counter service place. The portions of pasta are pretty big. They also have salads and pizza.

If you have cash to spend, most people seem to love the Blue Bayou. You might need to call and priority seating for it though.

At DCA, I love the brocolli cheese soup in a bread bowl at the Pacific Wharf.

We never eat a real breakfast in the parks. But we love going to the Blue Ribbon Bakery on main street for pastries and coffee. I love the chocolate filled croissant.

I have heard some great things about Blue Bayou...we might check that out...
That soup sounds DELICIOUS!! Will have to try that as well!

You can look on Disney dining reviews, the sticky thread; it has lots of pictures of food and where to get it.

My trip report has lots of food pictures on it-- see the link in my signature. We enjoyed Blue Bayou on our last day for lunch.

Also check allears.net, the dining section. It has menus for all the restaurants in DL, CA, and DTD.

Blue Bayou, it's $$$$$ but it's good!!!! We love it there, the atmosphere and the food!! :) Get a cookie boat to share, you won't regret it! :)

Taste Pilots Grill in DCA is a good place for CS, they have good ribs and good chicken sandwiches.

White Water Snacks in the GCH is good too, good food at good prices.

Corn Dog Castle is good, HUGE corn dogs and they are so good!! These are also available at the red fire truck on MS in DL. :) We like eating at RiverBelle Terrace for breakfast, good sized portions here. We usually get 1 Mickey pancake and my 8 and 12 y.o. share it. :)

Cafe Orleans is good, I like the pomme frites there. Definitely get those! :)

We really like RainForest Cafe in DTD and the Jazz Kitchen is good too.
There is a Mimi's, a Millie's, a Joe's Crab Shack and a Bubba Gump that are close by and good too. altho the Joe's and Bubba's aren't walking distance, you would want to drive or take a cab there.

I'm sure there are others and when I remember I'll stop by and post them.

My DH and I aren't really into shows...but we LOVE Aladdin. It's really great.

We love Aladdin, especially DBF. It's his favorite!! I really want to take him on our trip in January for his b-day, we missed it on our last trip before our AP's expired. It was the ONE thing he wanted to do so he was bummed.

You should definitely go in January! That's when we'll be there! :)

That would be neat!! But I think we will be there before you guys are going to be there. I'm putting my ticker up soon. My dates might change but only by a few days. We will be there either the 3rd-8th or the 7th-11th.

This seems like a really great time to come huh? Any idea on the weather??

There are a lot of things in Fantasy land that I'd like to do...like the Pinnochio ride...is that even still there? I know it's something I miseed when I was there last and I have to go on Mr. Toads since we don't have it anymore...

The weather has been great every time we've gone in late Feb. Cool and a little chilly (sweatshirt weather) in the mornings and evenings, and warm afternoons. That's not to say this couldn't be the year it rains, lol!

As for dining, everyone seems to have their favorites but we don't usually go to the restaurants where you need reservations. We like Rancho del Zocalo (?) by BTMRR. White Water Snacks. Pilots Grill. Tortilla Joe's. The Compass bookstore at the end of DTD has coffee and snacks too. The only place we need reservations at is Rain Forest Cafe, but we don't do that every time.

And yes, Pinocchio is still there! lol http://disneyland.disney.go.com/dis...ing?name=DisneylandParkAttractionsListingPage
