Well, what can I say. We just got back today from 3 MAGICAL days at WDW. We stayed at Pop Century and explored all 4 parks.

1st Day - Wednesday
Arrived at POP around 7:45 am, early check-in and off to Magic Kingdom! Arrived right around 9:00am and just in time to see the train pull up to the Train Station with all the characters to "officially open" the park. It was our first time seeing this and it was a great way to start. Day started off Hot and remained Hot all day! My DW was prepared with water, gatorade and soda. We had frozen all of them the night before, so, they were nice and cold all day! Crowds were moderate, but not too bad. We went back to the resort around 2:00pm to refresh with a nice swim in the pool.....Ahhh refreshing! Around 5:00pm, we hopped a bus to DTD where we did some shopping and let the kids run around. They absolutely love the Toy Land store. Back to the room around 9:00pm and caught the Epcot fireworks from our balcony. Awesome!!!

2nd Day - Thursday
Arrived at MGM around 9:00am and my DS4 wanted to ride Star Tours for the 1st time. He had some anxious moments, but, when the ride was over, he couldn't stop laughing!! He was so proud that he did it that he couldn't stop talking to DM for about an hour on how we fought off the "bad guys" and had a "crazy robot driver" for our space ship. Saw Mickey near the Backlot Tour. Kids were disappointed that the Bugs Life playground was closed for rennovations :( ...... DS wanted to ride Spaceship Earth really bad, so, we hopped a bus to Epcot. Once there, we rode Spaceship Earth and played around in Innoventions where both DS love to play the videogames. Went into Cool Zone and grabbed some sodas from around the world. Ate lunch at Electric Umbrella, and rode the Mexico boat ride. Then....off to Animal Kingdom. Couldn't believe we were going to do another park, but, DS wanted to go. Off we went!!! Went to Rafiki's Wildlife Reserve and on the way, watched Mickey's Jammin' Jungle parade! After RWR, park was closing...........MK again???? No, but back to the resort for a Large Resort Pizza and the pool.

3rd Day - Friday
Spent all day at the MK. Crowds were alot heavier as Memorial Day weekend was kicking in! Hot, Hot, Hot....lots of fluids and sunscreen. Wanted to stay for SpectroMagic and Wishes, but kids were wipped out (and so were we!). Back to resort around 7:30pm for another swim and dinner.

4th Day - Saturday
Checked out with frowns on our faces, but, already starting to plan our next MAGICAL trip to WDW!!! As always, we had a fantastic time and our looking forward to our trip at the end of August!!!!

Hi Mansion Fan,

So envious of you guys living so close to WDW!!!!

Hey, I never never read about a Bugs Life playground. Where is this exactly in MGM? Were you referring to Honey, I shrunk the Kids playground?

Thanks!

Yes....it is actually Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground. I got confused cause my DS4 wanted his picture by Flick who was by the playground...........

I live in New Port Richey off Ridge Road.......we are pratically neighbors!! Hi Disney Neighbor!!!

What room in POP did you have to see the Epcot Fireworks from the balcony? I was in the 70s bldg facing the lake an heard them, but never got to see them :(

Just curious. Sounds like you all had a blast! Hearing about those of you who live so close, makes me want to move back to FL (from Lakeland).

Glad you had such a great trip!

Sounds like a great 3 day getaway. Tell us more about your balcony room at POP! I had no idea POP had balconies!

I am so jealous---I would love to go to WDW for a 3 day get-away. Glad you had a good trip.

We were in the 60's Bldg A, room 4441. 4th floor. If you take the walkway back to hourglass lake, you have a great view. We were on the 4th floor, so we just walked out of our room and down the walkway to the railing and watched with joy!:wave2: ::yes::
