3 day potty training ?

Anyone know if this works.
It is called the " 3 day potty training " by Lora Jensen.

I haven't heard of it, but I'd be suspicious. I used to potty train kids in the Spec Prek program at our school. Kids pretty much train when they are ready. I don't mean that you shouldn't try, I just mean patience is key to success. You simply can't rush it. Different kids need the steps taught to them for different intervals of time, and you never know what that will be for which kid. Having said that, it doesn't hurt to try it as long as it doesn't make your little one anxious or upset. Good luck!

The 3 day method worked for my daughter when she was 28 months old. She did great and has never had any regression. She is now a little over 3.5y and no problems. I know of four other friends who used it with great success too.

I'm not familiar with that book, but my DD pretty much trained in one night. I threw out the Pull-Ups , put some BIG GIRL panties on DD, & told her, "That's it. You're wearing only undies from now on".

Well an hour later she wet herself in them & HATED the feeling. She was dry from then on.

A friend of mine did it with her son over Labor day weekend...it WORKED!!! Consistancy is the key...that and not going back!!! She is so proud of her son!!

I don't know exactly what her "method" is, but I think it may work. (I looked at the website-- no details since she wants you to buy it.)

All three of my children were using the potty consistently within 3-5 days with our own method. When we decided it was time, we didn't leave the house (or the room the potty was in really) and just focused on that child and using the potty. It was not stressful (for me or the child), but did require alot of attention. For us it was well worth investing several days solely to potty training and rather than dragging it out over months. It may not work for everyone, but my kids have very different personalities and we were successful all three times.
