3 Day Pass - does it expire

I just want to verify. We are planning to go to US & IOA for 2 days in March. I was thinking of buying the 3 day pass so we could use the 3rd day on a future trip.

Does this 3 day pass work like the WDW hopper passes - where the days never expire?

...as long as its not the 3rd day FREE pass. All days on those tickets expire in 7 days from the first date of use.
