We are going to DL for the first time in June and would like to get the 3-day hopper tickets. My questions are:

Who has the best deal?
Do I have to use the ticket for three day consecutively?

We will be at Anaheim for 6 days and would like t spread out the use of it.

Thanks.

No, the days do not have to be used consecutively. They only have to be used within 13 days of the first use.

Check out getawaytoday.com for ticket prices.

We just paid $690 for 2 adult and 2 children 3 day psrkhoppers through Get Away Today. Their price online is higher - you have to call them.

If you have AAA you could also check with them. We got ours thru them and they were cheaper then anywhere else that I checked with.

These have to be used by the end of this year and the reason they are cheaper is because they have leftover inventory from before the price increase in June.

I'm researching the same thing for a trip next July. I haven't found the absolute best deal yet - but I think some places don't have 2012 discount ticket rates yet (Sea World?) so I'm not convinced I've come up with the best prices yet.

I tried contacting my local AAA office and was told that they do NOT have discounted Disneyland tickets available here (North Carolina) and additionally, she contacted someone in the SoCal AAA and they don't have them there, either. Apparently I can only get discounted AAA tickets if I book a package - which does me no good, since we're DVC members! :rotfl: I pointed the agent to the Disneyland AAA ticket website I had found, with the information that their tickets are for purchase without a hotel, so who knows - maybe she just isn't a Disney Specialist or something.

aRes Travel has good prices. You can also get 3 day DL tickets with the SoCal CityPass - which also includes 1 day at Universal and 1 day at Sea World San Diego. If you plan to hit those parks - or even just one of them - this ticket might make more sense.

AAAs "discounted tickets" aren't any more discounted* than buying them ahead of time through Disney. They DO include parking, so that's a perk. The discount in the package is in the hotel accommodations not typically the tickets.
* Recently AAA has had "discounted" tickets because Disney printed prices on their passport plus ticket brochures from before the June price increase (but listed them available all year) so they had to continue selling them at the old prices.
