Hi,

We are considering our first trip to Universal this August 3rd to 5th. We would stay on-site to take advantage of the front of the line access.

Will this be enough time to see all of the rides at both parks.

We know it will be hot, but this is the only time we can go.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, it's enough time.
You are correct, it's hot and crowded in the afternoon. That's when you go back to your room to rest. Then come back at 5pm as the sun is lower and the crowds are leaving. Park stays open until 10pm the first week of August, and you can see the fireworks show.

Try to check into your hotel early the first day at 7am. Your room may be ready, then it "feels" like you have an extra day because you can unpack. If you have to fly in the night before, and stay at a cheap hotel, that will help.

What time would the park close in the second week of Aug. Are there still fireworks then?

Thanks
