Hi there! This will be my third trip to CC but the first since the new additions. I would love to hear your answers to these questions:

1. How do the crowds compare between the two family beaches? I am thinking that we would like to be on the second family beach to be near Pelican Plunge, but am wondering if the beach is more crowded because of it? Pros and cons, please...

2. What, if any, are the differences between Cookies, and Cookies Too?

3. Tell me about Spring A Leak.....please :goodvibes

Thanks everyone!

1. The original Family Beach will probably be more crowded for the simple reason that's the first one you come to after getting off the ship.

2. Cookies Too is smaller than Cookies.

3. Spring-Å-Leak is a water play area much like you see at Epcot and Downtown Disney except it's more elaborate and with a Castaway theme. If you send me your e-mail I'll send you a couple of pictures of it.

Thanks everyone!

We've been on 8 cruises, 10 visits to CC (two cruises were double dips); 6 on classic ships, 4 on new ships.

1. Actually, they are both crowded but the Pelican Plunge family beach is definitely more crowded. Honestly, just find a spot that you are happy with :) We have 'our' spot that we 'always' get. The pros are that's where you'd like to be, near Pelican Plunge. Cons? It's crowded all over - don't worry about it. It's not unbearable - the island handles it well. I only notice a difference since 6 of our visits were there on the classic ships.

2. No difference between Cookies or Cookies 2. Neither busier in our experience. Same exact food. Go to the closer one. Plenty of seating.

3. Our daughter is too old (she's 6), so we haven't went to Spring A Leak. It's a water play area for toddlers. Looks fun, but also looks like it would be cold if not warm air temp. It's got a roof on it - great for sun protection :)

Hope this helps!

1. I was there last week, and the crowds were about the same. To be honest, though, it was not bad at either!

2. I did not notice much difference.

3. Spring a Leak was FUN! We went there shortly after we got off of the ship (maybe 10 AM) and were the only ones there for about 20 minutes. My son LOVED it! Best part is there is a sort of tarp over top to keep some of the sun out for shade. It was really nice!

Is it only for toddlers now?!!!

We went on our last full cruise and my kids loved it, but they were definitely not toddlers! We played there for about an hour they loved it so much.

No, it is not just for toddlers. However, that is who is usually playing in it and our daughter much prefers actual swimming to a water feature.
