This just looked too cute! I was lying out the tickets and seperating them by designs (some repeats) so that I could divide them between us all It looked pretty...and exciting

I then made some envelopes to put them in. Basically they are small adapted mousekeeping envelopes.

I go two weeks today!!!!

Phoned up on friday and put in a request for one of the refurb rooms. It's not essential but I thought that having the curtain between the sinks and the bedroom would be a help. So fingers crossed.

I'm so excited now!

Ok, I got creative again today

First of all, I know that some people put window signs up. Well, I'd made a couple and had one made for me for this trip BUT I also know that some guests had put signs up on the door to allow people to leave messages. I thought it might be worth a try. I've made the board. I still need to laminate it, get a pen and get some magnets to hold it (cause apparently the doors are magnetic). Then hopefully some nice disers will see it and say hi! :wavey:



Jenni also said that we should have a badness level chart (neither of them knows I've made any of this stuff yet - other than things like the countdown calender they've already had). Being the stitch fan she is, she thought it would be funny to have a chart to say how we've behaved. Well, I thought it would be funnier to also compare how the others thought we were that day. I can tell you now we'll be marking it high no matter what . So I've made three of these:



Just hope they like it. Also gonna sort out magnets so these can go on inside of the door. And get a pen!

Thanks! Ridiculously so I can't tell if these 11 days are gonna drag or rush past. The only thing that makes me sad about being away is leaving my cats - they're house cats so always with me when I'm home. But they have a catsitter so they'll be fine and I'll be in Disney

So she text me tonight to say she'd come up with a design and would I look at them. Now, keep in mind that Jenni has seen NONE of the things I've made and doesn't know about them (esp the autograph books). Here are her designs:

Due to the volcanic ash cloud we've had our flights for tomorrow cancelled. Although we have *touch wood* rebooked our flights for next saturday we've lost five great and special ADRs and I'm gutted. I know it's only meals but I'd put so much work into planning them. We've lost:

CRT
Chef Mickeys (which was my birthday treat)
Akershus
Tusker House (Andy's birthday treat cause he loves daisy)
Fantasmic! Dinner Package - it's the one show we didn't want to miss.


We can't rebook ANY of them for ANY time we're out there (now 24th April to 3rd May) I'm so sad.

I'm also, to be honest, not too hopeful that we'll be able to fly next week either.

I was reading your post and feeling excited for you....until I read what day you planned to fly out on. Terrible how the volcano is changing plans for so many people. Here's hoping that the ash starts clearing up and people can get on their way to their destinations sometime soon! Oh....the torture of knowing you should be at Disney and can't get there.

Thanks hun. I'm still hoping for next saturday but I'm afraid to get my hopes up right now. I also never realised how often Disney World advertises on tv until the ast 24hrs *shakes head* Keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks guys . I've managed to book some new adrs - boma, 50s prime time and 1900 PF breakfast. I'm really torn though cause I'm replanning and I'm not even sure if we're going. THat's the hardest bit. Just don't feel like I can get excited. It would be different if they had any idea of when this will end. Must admit I burst into tears when I got off the phone from cancelling the previous adrs. It's just all limbo at the mo and there's so many of us in this situation. My mother is stuck in germany and has to get a ferry now on wednesday. Wish there was that option for America, I'd be on it by now! x

Hard to say . A lot of the UK airports that had hoped to open, didn't and won't til 1am at earliest. Others that did have closed again. We've still got a few days but for every piece of good news about weather changes or lava not ash or safe to fly, there is a contradicting piece of bad news. I'm so confused and stressed it's unbelievable. Last night it was all positive and I started trying to reorganise things. 3 hours later the doom and gloom came back, so I stopped [. It's soooo frustrating .

Last night in my replanning I managed to get a fantasmic package again, at Melrose on 30th (2pm). Then this morning I saw a Chef Mickey's space so grabbed it before realising it's also 30th at 7am . I've also got an early lunch at Park Fare that day...which I'm gonna cancel . Now I have to decide/see if we can do the two meals in one day or whether to cancel one in hopes of getting another chance.
