We are staying at All Star Moves from October 1st to October 8th with the DDP :cool1: The Kids Play Free offer carries over for our entire stay which is awesome too!

I thought starting a pre-trip report this far out would be CrAzY but really there is so much planning and preparation to do I thought why the heck not!

Here are some pics of our 2009 visit in September:

We had so much fun we knew the first day we got there we were coming back. The 09 trip was for Ben's 4th birthday and the plan was to return for Logan's 4th but he's a January baby and I hate traveling in the winter so we are celebrating it a bit early :rolleyes1

I swore the last time we were in Disney that when we came back I would be staying in the Contemporary or some other monorail resort.... we're ACTUALLY staying at All Star Movies

I think I went through every possible discount, PIN code and time of year to make a deluxe resort work for us and it didn't. I mean we COULD have done it but it would have meant QS dining, no MNSSHP and a very cranky husband (he's a bit.... frugal shall we say?). I just didn't think that I would be getting my moneys worth and thought of all the tangible things we could do with the extra money we would save.

I then looked at a moderate. Water slide, bigger rooms, fridge..... but we barely spend anytime in our room. So why pay for 50 extra sq feet or a fridge that will be empty. The waterslide does suck I'll admit that but still for US not worth the extra cash.

Alas we agree on a moderate (hubby is VERY happy of course) and I'm happy about that. Now I can endulge a bit more on souvenirs and other things. We stayed at ASSp last time and loved it but with Toy Story 3 being as big as it is I knew with all my heart the boys would love Movies. So I guess really it wasn't that hard of a decision after all. Maybe after a few more trips under our belt a deluxe will work for us but until then I'm happy we chose a value - it just works for US!

I'm a little worried about the buses at ASMo as it is the LAST stop and last pick up for the All Stars. In 09 it seemed like each resort had their own buses during 'rush hour" and only shared in the middle of the day. I'm hoping that stays the same.

I booked a preferred room and requested - you guessed it - the Toy Story Building. I know it's not guaranteed but I"m still hoping we get it.:flower3:

I am a horrible mother for saying this but it's true. Logan birthday is only a few weeks after Christmas and his birthday seems to sneak up on me every year! We only had a family party this year but still felt the need to give it a birthday feel. I put together a very sloppy Disney party for the poor kid and hope that when he's older and sees that Ben had a $400 petting zoo for his 3rd birthday he'll forgive me.

Here are some (shameful pictures):
