3 bedroom suites

I keep checking and checking (not the first trip I have done this), and I can never find any 3 bedroom suites available anywhere. I even try to look in the morning on the last days available to book, always sold out. Any tips on landing these rooms? Thanks

Do you mean the DVC Grand Villas? I think you can only get those on points, I don't know if they've ever shown up as cash. You would have to rent points at the 11 month mark to get one of those IF they are even available for your dates. There is the the treehouses at Saratoga Springs, those have 3 bedrooms. The Art of Animation suites have 3 sleeping areas. That's it as far as I know.

They typically are only available for cash in the last 60 days They are also typically not brought over in breakage so you have to call and get a senior reservation person to check.

DVC rentals are typically less but have some additional risks but can be made starting at the 11 month mark

I’ve read some families book a 2 bdrm and an adjoining studio.

With the note that adjoining studio is a request, and not even always possible based on the configurations of resorts.

As PPs have noted, if you want to book a grand villa through WDW (not through point rental), you need to call in to the reservation center to check availability.

One thing to remember is that GVs are not usually included in discounts

With our large family and groups, we've gotten beautiful adjoining rooms and it worked well for us

Reminder that adjoining and connecting is not the same. Adjoining just means close by, maybe across the hall, next door without a connecting door. Connecting means you can walk between the rooms without going outside or into the outer corridor. There are many room configurations that do not have connecting rooms.
