3 b/r at Cypress Pointe $350.00?

Would you think this is a good deal? Friends were able to negotiate this thru a private seller on one of the timeshare sites.

I told her to go for it. We will be at OKW and from what I read it would not be to far.

I want to tell her to go for it. What do you think?
Anyone stay there recently?

If you mean $350 for a week (7 nights), then that is a pretty good deal. Hotel Kingdom lists the CP 3bdrms for $86.91 per night for our dates next April. Don't know your dates, but sometimes CP comes up on Sky Auction Ready Set Go auctions, both 2 and 3 bdrms and those run about $260 for the week. At any rate, CP is pretty close to DTD, so should be fairly close to where you are staying at OKW.

Yes it is a weekly rate. I think it sounds pretty good.

But she was also offered Marriott Sabal Palms for $600.00 and I think she is leaning more towards that. Either way, she has to let them know today. We are going the 2nd week of December if that matters.

The difference in price isnt worth it. Sabal Palms is one of the older Marriott timeshares in the area and while still very nice is not as nice as Grand Vista for example.

Also she will get more space with the 3bedroom

Have stated at the CP resort 3 or 4 times now, last May/June in a 3 bedroom. Lots of room, price is cheaper then the sales people told us it could be rented for. It is a Sunterra Resort and is on there web site.

so she can go to that and see it. They have a lot of activities during the week for free.
We sat throught the timeshare pres. and got a gift cert for Chilies and $75 Visa- did not buy. We do own Sun. Points at other resorts. Have fun- we tried to get int OKW.
As a bonus- check a map- we found a back way from CP to OKW that did not go through the hotel/DTD route. It was even quicker.
CP in the past was about 4-15 min from DTD depending on trafic.
Hope you all have fun- we could only get in to Embassy Grand Beach oct 10-18.

FYI, just checked the Skyauction RSG auctions per my previous post...it shows availability for CP for a 3 bdrm for check in on Dec 10th or 11th. Might be worth checking into.
