Hi here, I'm hoping someone here can help me. We are planning a trip for next Jan with myself, my husband, our triplets (will be 22m at the time of the trip), and my mom. We are looking at a 1 bedroom villa at BLT. I see that the cap for that type of room is 5+1 under 3. So, I assume 3 adults +3 young toddlers will be doable there? Anyone have any experience? TIA!

While its allowed by the firecode, that doesn't mean its comfortable. What do the kids sleep in? (PnP, bed, etc)

It should be fine and BLT is a great location! We stayed there on our last trip and again on our upcoming vacation - the walkway to and from MK is perfect for avoiding the crowds at the end of the day.

You are right at the occupancy limit, as only 1 child under the age of 3 is not counted. The others will be.

I think you will be tight. How would the sleeping arrangements work? Mom in the bedroom and the rest of you in the main area? What will the kids be sleeping in? While you can technically fit, look at the logistics and see if you will comfortably fit.

Right now they sleep in mini cribs. I think they will be fine in the PNPs for the trip (they sleep well in those when we visit family).

I know with 3 kids we will spend more time in the room than we would otherwise, but my thought would be to put up the PNPs when not in Use to allow for a little extra space to move around and just open them up for naps/nighttime.

Sleeping arrangements could be either my mom in the bedroom and the rest of us in the Main area, her in the main area and us in the bedroom, or split up the kids however it fits best. She lives with us right now so she has no problem with them being in her "space" for sleeping.

I realize it's going to be tight but I'm hoping we can make it work out.

I would go to OKW in a 1bdrm much bigger room you could fit all 3 pack n plays in the bedroom and not mess with taking them up and down 412xs. That will get old in a hurry. Plus lots more room for the kids and you could get 3 high chairs around the dining table.

You can fit two PnPs in the master bathroom (most likely, but I'm pretty positive you can) and 1 PnP in the extra bathroom (but can't use the bathroom when the PnP is in there). Also if you get a room with a laundry closet rather than a laundry room you can put a PnP where the tiny hallway to the connecting door is from the lock off.

You'll have a king bed in the one bedroom... Do you ever bed share with any of them? That way you wouldn't need three PNPs (two of which you'll need to bring yourselves). We usually end up bed sharing in WDW and it works well for us. Just a thought :)

Get the kids use to sleeping in a bed. Have your mom sleep on the pull out chair and let your triplets sleep together in the pull out couch. The only trip that my girls used the pack n play at Disney was when they were 17 month old.

BLT 1 bedrooms are pretty small. I don't think there will be room in the master bedroom for one pack n play. 2 bathrooms are great with 3 adults. We stayed in one when my girls were 4 with my MIL

You might get more responses on the Resort forum for BLT. We stayed in the 1 bedroom at BLT with me, my husband and our daughters (4 and 6 yo at the time). Plenty of room, one child on fold out chair and one on pull out couch. My only concern for your set up is having adults sleeping on either the chair or the couch. While it was very nice for a 45 lbs 48" tall child, I'm not sure how it would hold up to an adult (or two if you and your husband elect to stay on the couch). If it is just one or two nights, it may not matter as much as if it is a week long trip.

We also did a 2 bedroom at BLT with 4 adults (us and my parents) and the kids (ages 5 and 7 yo at the time). This was even better, as my parents had their own space (and own full bath and balcony), and we had ours! However, cost is obviously much higher on the 2 bedroom. We did get a AAA discount on the 2 bedroom which amounted to over $1500 off for the 7 nights that we stayed there, for the price of a AAA membership ($53). Made it a little more tolerable!!

Have a magical trip either way!!

:wave2:

I also have triplets who are now 12, also born in March on the 22nd :goodvibes

First trip was at 9 months we stayed in an OKW 2 bedroom with my sister. We had the master bedroom portion and we did have 3 pack n plays set up.

Next time at 2 1/2 we stayed at boardwalk in a 2bdroom with my brother in law. This time we took the 2nd bedroom part, and split up 2 babies and me on bed and 1 baby with husband on the pullout.

Can you sleep with 1 baby and you and your husband in King and 1 pack n play and either one with your mom or second pack n play in living area?

OKW will give you more space, but to me the proximity of BLT to MK would win out for me.

Good luck
