3,790 Miles

22 miles round trip. Beat that Yo.
I know, I'm rubbing it in, sorry.
Lathamary, had I known when I stopped by to chat that you traveled that far, I would have volunteered to watch the kids so you and hubby could rest up.

Aw, that's so sweet! Maybe next time :thumbsup2

1146 one way according to mapquest. We try to beat the morning rush hour out of New York. We try to make it to SC the first day. The next day we can reach the fort by mid after noon. The last trip we left home mid-day and it took over 2 days to get there. It was strange it was in Dec and it got dark early. The first night it felt like we were driving forever in the dark.

Just finished calculating on Google Maps (though a more reliable source would be the odometer on the RV, but I haven't sat down and went through those numbers yet :teacher:)

3,790 miles round trip to go to the Fort. Beat that, yo! :drive:

A true blue Fort Fiend. :worship: (worth every minute wasn't it?)

You definitely got me beat. 2,060 round trip from Dayton, Ohio. We usually stop once on the way down and again on the way back. Usually at the Cordele, GA. KOA.

The ride home sure does seem to take a lot longer!

We are very fortunate our round trip is only about 1/3 of the total miles you drive. Not a bad drive for us, it's only 1,264 miles round trip from coastal North Carolina. We are looking forward to the drive back down to Fort Wilderness in a few weeks!

We are 1250 miles from the Fort, use to do it in one day by driving straight thru, but now stop one night each way.

4630 miles roundtrip for us this July. Third time to the World and first time to the Fort. Can't wait!

A little over 2600 miles RT for us but when you add in the "extra" driving we did locally in March we added another 1000 miles to that. We were scoping out campgrounds for seasonal camping when we retire in 2 years. Found a decent one about 25 minutes from WDW and it's conveniently located next door to a nudist resort.:rolleyes1

Binoculars will be the first thing on your Santa list!

Over 6000 miles roundtrip this summer with the extra stops...hopefully my husband and I come back together ( ha ha )
