Gosh! What an awesome night! So many coming and going... I am so sorry for keeping the room on friends near close, but there were a few strange strangers I wanted to keep out. Gosh, I opened about 2 minutes to close -- so sorry for those who could not get in.

I don't see how a Host being there would make the experience any better. There's too much focus on Hosts and People of Power. Same thing happened when the CL program was still in play: people would be awestruck by seeing a CL.

I would very much enjoy a quiet closing with a few people, then a flood of folks coming in to see a host.

Hugs Pirate - missed you tonight. I do agree the thing about closings is being together with good friends and smiling and laughing together before the lights go out. You have a good head on your shoulder for a pirate.

Seriously, though, if you are going to come to visit Got Boxes you had better beware if you plan on going afk for any length of time. Let me give a good example...
