I fly in Tues at 10:00 a.m. and fly out Sat. at 1 p.m.

Figure I can get to a park by noon or 1 Tuesday. I would like to go to all four parks and am staying at ASM. Anybody have a good plan of attack?

Is anyone traveling with you? What ages? What time of the year are you traveling?

I think getting to the park by noon or 1 is not going to be easy. I would say plan on around 2 or 3. Check in could take awhile. If you just leave your bags and not go to your room, that would save time. Alot depends on what type of transportation you are using from the airport to ASM and then to the park.

Epcot is always open to 9. If the others parks are closing early, this could be a starting point.

It depends on your preferences and whether you want to get as much done in every park as you can. Since the first day will be a half-day, figure out which park has the fewest attractions you want to see. I would recommend MGM because it is a smaller park and you can reasonably get everything or almost everything you want to get done in 5 or 6 hours.

As for the rest, you can spend a day in each park so check out the park hours for the days you are there. If the park closes earlier than usual, that means the crowds will be somewhat smaller. If the park is open late, you have more options as far as what time you want to get there and what time you want to leave (and if you want to leave in the middle of the day and come back later for re-rentry).

Good luck!

Guess I should have been more specific. We are going June 15 so I imagine it will be crowded.

It will be me and my 10-year-old DD.

I'd hit MGM Tuesday afternoon since it's a smaller park and could be done in a shorter amount of time, as someone already suggested... On Wednesday I'd spend the day at MK. On Thursday I'd visit Epcot and on Friday I'd hit AK for early entry. After you finish with that (which will probably be on the early side), you could either return to your hotel to relax and then head to one of the parks for dinner or return to your favorite park for the afternoon and stay there for dinner. The only negative about going to MGM on Tuesday is that that's early entry day, so it might be pretty crowded still by the time you get there... All in all, though, I think this plan would make a lot of sense. The only way I would change it is if the weather isn't supposed to be good on Friday (AK day), I'd consider substituting MGM or Epcot for this day since these parks have more indoor rides.

Hope you have a great time with your DD!!

Happy planning,
Sarah

Thanks for the great ideas! I'll print them and put in my WDW planning book.

All of the forementioned information is excellent, however, I would talk to your DD and see what her expectations are.

If she is expecting rides then I would not end your stay at AK, unless you return to the Magic Kingdom for a last go round of some of her favorite rides. AK has always closed at 5 or 6 in the evening and this gives you plenty of time to head over to the MK. If she really likes fireworks then head over to Epcot and watch Illuminations again.

One year after touring AK my family went back to the hotel to swim and I headed over to the MK for the fireworks and then to Epcot for Illuminations. This was our first day, but it was an awesome way to start out the vacation.

Best of luck and remember to include your DD in the planning, that way you are not disappointed if she doesn't enjoy the trip as much as you do.
