3-1-1 question...probably asked before....

Last time I flew, I was with my two small children and I had a travel pack of "wet-wipes" in my purse. I forgot to put it in my 3-1-1 bag and I had no problems.

Now, I am going to be travelling alone and I would like to do only carry-ons. Can I pack those pre-moistened facial wipes without having them in the 3-1-1 bag (like my wet-wipes) or did I unintentionally get away with something? I do not know if they are considered "liquid" just because they are "wet".

Wipes are not a liquid.

I always pack wet ones and lysol or clorox wipes in my carry-on without putting them in the 3-1-1 bag.

I've never had problems with wipes in my purse or carryon.
