I'm not an owner but I think it's great to have all of these Dis owners to choose from when we go on vacation. It's like renting from family.

Thank you all, I posted a lengthy reply in the "guess who" post, but let me reiterate it was one of the best experiences that we have had with a purchase like this. A lot of that has to do with this site and people who WANT to share their experiences with others who (as myself) could really use it and benefit from it.

Now comes the hard, but fun, part. We are starting the place from scratch and working on making it a "home" that you all on the DIS will be proud of.

I will keep you all informed as I am sure there will be many highs and lows, but we are sure that it will all be worth it. It is not an easy undertaking, as you all know, but we are busily and more importantly are enjoying doing the work to make it into the kind of property that builds quality memories with friends and family. I think thats the key.

We just entered the Orlando/Disney STR market recently aswell and it is very daunting but lots of fun - enjoy

Thanks again everyone, it is really hard but very fun "work". I think the kids will have a bit of an adjustment because they think that there is no reason to stay in New Jersey anymore.

When I tell them they would have to leave all their friends my 3 year old daughter quickly points out that there are pleanty of friends at the "Dizzey (Disney) House".

We have a few things in common, both from NJ, both in the STR rental business and both probably use the same managment company. I am with the same one George uses. Although my homes are in Emerald Island.

Thank you. We also took a look at Emerald Island and found it beautiful as well. I thought the entrance was particularly attractive.

We do have the same MC then, I could not be happier with them.
