2nd year in a row..... 3 dreams w/in first 24 hours!!!!

We checked in @ the Beach Club on 8/15/08 around 10:30am.... The CM checking me in said she had some good news and some bad news....

The bad news? The request I'd made for 2 queen beds and a balcony could not be met-they didn't have any available balcony rooms w/ queen beds. If we wanted to check back later in the day for a standard room w/ a balcony, she could recheck....

OR

The good news.... the computer had it noted that we had a complimentary upgrade to concierge!!!!

She said I could decide which one I'd prefer-the standard room w/ a balcony or the no balcony concierge room.... Ummm... Hmmm... let me think??!?!?!?

Of course we jumped at the Club level room

Room wasn't ready... so we headed into Epcot. My DD was just dying for a Mickey bar.. it'd been a full year since she last had one! We stopped at a cart to buy one w/ the DDP snack credit and the CM pulled a slip of paper out and said she was getting her Mickey bar at no charge-Mickey asked him to give her one!

Next morning.... we went to AK. At 10:15am we were in Mickey's line to meet him... guess who was standing in the exit line to Mickey's meet and greet? A Dream team member handing out dream fastpasses!!!! I was sweating bullets because the meet line was taking so long and I feared she'd leave before we got out of seeing him.... 25 minutes later.... we got Dream Fastpasses!!! (We got them at the same time on the same day last year but in Donald's line!!!!)

We may have had a wet and windy trip but the magic was there Hoping our pixie dust gets spread to many more guests in the coming weeks!!!!

We actually were in line to see Minnie (I was scoping out all the lines first since we'd won fastpasses exactly one year ago to the day while exiting Donald's line).... a guest in front of me had on a dream fastpass and I casually asked him where he'd gotten it-he said while exiting Mickey's line... So I switched from Minnie's line to Mickey's with my girls and the DT CM was in the exit pathway... ONLY giving them to guests exiting Mickey's line after seeing him.... I was sweating bullets that she'd run out before our turn because there were AT LEAST 40+ guests in front of us and Mickey left twice for short breaks. We waited over 25- 30 min. to see him all the while I kept checking to make sure she was still there Finally it was our turn.... we did pics with Mickey and then headed down the exit pathway to be asked... "Are you familiar with Disney's Year of a Million Dreams??" Oh.... how happy I was to be asked!

We also saw people getting them that were exiting Peter Pan's Flight on 8/21 around 9:50am ( I remember the time because it was pouring from Fay and we were on our way to breakfast at the castle.... )
