2nd Day Free in August?

For our upcoming August trip (first to SW) I'd like the option of a second half day or so to avoid all the rushing. I'm debating a Fun Card or the discounted 7 day advance purchase. Nowhere on the SWO website does it mention 2nd day free, only here. Is this something to rely on? Is it "unoffical"?

2nd day free really isn't advertised. I've never seen it ever not be offered, though.
