Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has even been on more than one Disney cruise. We went on the Western Caribbean 7-day(loved it!!) last year and are considering the Eastern next year. My concern is that it may not be as exciting as it was the first time around. The pros are that since we've done it all already, we will be more relaxed as we know exactly what to expect, how to pack, etc. Has anyone ever done more than one cruise? Your input will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Joanne

According to my countdown below we are getting ready to go on our 5th Disney Wonder Cruise.
We have not become bored with it yet. There is always something that you didn't see or didn't notice when you were there last time.
Of course the stage shows in the theater don't change that often but we find we still love to see them over and over again.

we,ve been on 5 disney cruises so far with # 6 and 7 coming up this summer. we are NEVER bored as there are so many things to do, either for the first time or over again. we enjoy each trip as if it was our first.:)

We're doing our 3rd Disney cruise in May and are already planning our 4th for 2005.

No, it doesn't get boring. Even though we knew more on our 2nd cruise, it was every bit as exciting as the 1st.:bounce: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We've booked our 5th cruise--this time western. We've done 3 3nights, and the eastern. I love it. I love feeling like I know what to expect--like part of the family. They offer so many choices of activities, I feel as though I've only done a fraction of the entertainment.

#3 coming up for us in June, and we are very excited.

It's like visiting your vacation home. We know our way around, but yet, there are different things to do (new shows, new bars, etc.)

Have fun and Von Boyage!

DCL cruise #10 coming up on Feb 7, 2004!!!! I am just as (if not more) excited than when we went the first time!!!

I think packing now is a breeze...I know just what to bring.

I don't feel pressured to see each show...we pick and choose, which leaves us more time in port or by the pool.

We see so many CM's that we have become friendly with it is like going "home" again.

I am looking forward to doing things we still have not done...yes even after 10 cruises we have not done it all!!! I really want to try the wine tasting this time.

I know what to expect....great quality and service. Warm, breezy afternoons up on deck or in the shade on the Deck 4 loungers...heaven on earth!!!

We've been on 35 Disney cruises and have six more booked in 2004 (next one is Feb. 5). I can honestly say that we never get tired of it. How can I get tired of swimming, sunning, eating yummy food, visiting a beach in paradise, getting massages, watching great shows, etc? In all those cruises, we still haven't managed to do everything that we want. And there is always something new, like the fireworks last fourth of July or the Golden Mickeys (we were on the Wonder for the premiere). Just be careful....the more Disney cruises you do, the more addicting they become.

Number 10 for us is next month. It is the only thing DD wants to do for vacations, and is easy for Mom. The crew are like old friends, many dating from the maiden voyage. Every cruise is different, and they keep improving things.

Yes, it is nice to have the familiarity...never boredom, there is always so much to do. We love the Magic.....did 2 4 days trips on the Magic, then all 7 day after that. Never did the Wonder...don't want a short cruise now.

Wow!! Great responses here! I am completely reassured that we will like it as much the 2nd time as the 1st.

35 cruises?? I guess my next question would be how do you afford it?? LOL
