I'm trying to save cash here. Can I save money on a ticket for just ONE park, does that even exist??

We'll arrive around 1-2pm, typically we start fresh the following morning but we were considering going our first day in for a few hours.

Would you spend full price for just a few hours? When it comes down to it (getting settled, dinner) we won't even have a 1/2 day.

When might you be visiting?

1-Day 1-Park Ticket for adults which is defined as 10 years of age or older is currently $72 for children 9 years of age or younger it is $69. Price difference between the one day one park for adults versus a one day park hopper is $25.00 for children it is also at a $25.00 price difference. So that would make for a savings of $50.00 for one adult and one child.
I say, if it is in one's budget so as to visit for a half day, then do so. You have my vote.
Here is hoping that you and your family have a magical day!

Feb 3 - 5. We can do DCA in a 1/2 day so it would only be needed for DL. And our DD is 11 so that would be 3 adult prices, plus 1 child.....hmmm...wonder if I could convince DH!?! :worship:

Check here for good savings regarding Disney's everyone pays the child price. It begins next January, and runs through April 2010. Also there is the Give a Day, Receive a Disney Day, promotion. That will give you an additional day, and complimentary at that.
One can purchase these tickets now, (Everyone pays the child's price) on line at Disney's website.

Do you already HAVE 2-day tickets? If you do, then I would either do the volunteer thing, or else just go ahead and go to Downtown Disney and maybe Goofy's Kitchen/a Disney restaurant for your arrival day. That would probably be less stress for the family.

If you already have the 2-day tickets and there's no way to exchange them, I would also stop reading RIGHT NOW! :)

If you do NOT have the tickets yet, then I would absolutely buy a three-day hopper instead of two.

Assuming you don't have any special corporate deals/etc., then right now (kids/adults):
2-Day Hoppers:
$131/$151

3-Day Hoppers with the promotion Gisele linked (kids/adults are the same):
$149/$149

If you get everyone plays at kids' prices, then it would cost $18 per "child" to add on that third (half) day, and you'd actually SAVE $2 per "adult".

I think it is worth the $12 total upgrade to be in the parks an extra few hours. :)

Eeee-va - Thanks for the breakdown!!! I hate math!

JUST before hopping back on here, DH & I went over those prices listed & decided it was best to go w/ the 3 Day, at first he said it was money wasted until he realized it was $12.

$12 for DL fun!??? Heck yeah!!!! :thumbsup2

Thanks for all your help ladies!! I assume you're ladies, Gisele & Eva!! :rotfl:
