2BR room request at BCV?

I was thinking we would like to request a top floor Epcot view so we can see the fireworks. I know it is not likely we'll get our request, but it can't hurt to ask. Anyone have any recommendations? If you have stayed on a top-floor 2BR with Epcot view, were you actually able to see the fireworks? I know I've read that the lower floors the view is blocked by trees... TIA.

What type of 2 bedroom do you have reserved? Lock-off, Dedicated, Dedicated with 2 queens? They are not all equally distributed so it does matter to some degree. Example: you will never get a Dedicated with 2 queens on the first floor.

That could still be a dedicated. Some dedicated BCV 2 bedrooms have 1 queen and a sleep sofa in the second bedroom. I believe it would say lock off if you actually had one of those, but I am not sure.

I would think that is a dedicated 2 bedroom with a queen and sleeper sofa in the second bedroom. As Carol mentioned a lock-off would say that on the reservation. On the web site my dedicated with two queens reservation states "2BR/2 Queenbeds in 2nd BR"

If you go to http://www.parkinfo2go.com/dvc-bcv/ you will see that there are only 5 of these room types that will have an illuminations view.

542, 552, 477, 467, 424 - with only this many there is a chance none will be open the day you arrive.

I'm assuming that the first and second floors would not have an illuminations view. We had a third floor that worked well but from what I have heard the lower ones do not. Take a look at the room views

Lisa - that is good news for me about no dedicated 2brs with 2queens being on the first floor!! I have this booked for F&W!!
