We are already booked at BCV in a 2br June 7-14. There are 7 of us on this trip. I thought it would be nice for each couple to have their own bedroom. Would you give up the 2br at BCV for a GV @ OKW?

If you can get a GV at OKW at this late date....

You could always cancel the two bedroom, get a one bedroom and two studios. You get the one bedroom. The other couples get the two studios. Again, if you can get them at this late date.

Hi, one question?? you said 7 and mentioned couples? 2,4,6, is the 7th a child?? I would go for the GV at OKW, since in a two bedroom, one of the couples get the pull out couch. I don't know if you would pull straws:rotfl:, take turns, and lets not forget about the seventh person! where do they go? I'm not being sarcastic, just trying to be funny, but I do mean it if you have the points and could go into a GV I would. It would give you guys some breathing space. Especially the one who would get a pull out in the living room and someone in the bedroom wakes up thirsty.

If you can get the GV @ OKW, then I would definitely take it.

We stayed in one a couple years ago and it was wonderful! Everyone should stay in one at least once. It was really nice.

We will be staying in the GV at OKW starting this very Saturday! It is people like me who make a reservation for the five weekdays right away at the 11 month window, calling day by day, who make it unlikely that you will be able to get a GV.

I sold some Vero and HH points and bought some additional OKW points just so I can use my 11 month window for more Grand Villa time at OKW. During this season, the OKW GV costs just 36 points per night (180 points for 5 nights!)

I really think it is the very best deal in the DVC.

Oh yes, and we only travel with a total of six people. my OKW GV!

Grand Villa all the way. A King, 2 Queens and 2 Fulls and a new pull out couch which is much more comfortable than the old couches.

I have a GV @ OKW reserved for Jun7-Jun13, can't wait. Best of luck to you, hope you can get one.

We stayed in an OKW GV in 1/2004 for my DD 5th birthday. My DDs now 9 and 7 STILL remember it and still ask when we are going to stay in our "house" at WDW?

The studios and one-bedrooms are nice but they want the house! :rolleyes1

No, I would not give up BCV 2 br, for anything. Location means more to me than space. Being able to walk over to Epcot and swim in that beautiful huge pool is AWESOME. Good luck with your decision!

The GV at OKW is fabulous...stayed there with friends a while back and have one booked this coming November. With a crowd, you will appreciate THREE FULL BATHROOMS plus a huge FOURTH bathroom on the main level with a very spacious shower (no tub). SO you have two baths upstairs (with two bedrooms) and two baths on the first floor(where the master bedroom is) , making it nice if you do have someone sleeping on the pullout in the living room. By the way, the laundry room is almost big enough to be a fourth bedroom!

EPCOT area resorts are great for convenience to EPCOT but I have always found the bus service from OKW to anywhere to be just fine. Plus, you can hop a boat to Downtown Disney area AND you will most likely have a peaceful golf course, woods, or water view from your spacious balcony at OKW. We also like that, for most of the OKW villas, your car is parked pretty much right in front of your villa.

Good luck!
