2bdrm lock off to 1bdrm

We have a 2 bedroom lock off booked at the BCV. To save points the last night we wanted to switch to just a 1 bedroom. Do you think we will have to completely change rooms or will we just be able to move out of the studio portion and keep the 1 bedroom?

No way to know for sure. Just depends on who is checking out and in that day and if the assigner can make it work. I'm sure they will try.

Make sure MS notes your request n the reservation (and if you do online check-in, be sure to skip the request section or it will erase the MS request notes). Then politely mention it again at check-in. Good luck!

If not, it's only 8-10 points 'wasted'. Might be worth is not to have to pack and move.

Since the last night is a weekend night, it's 13 more points. I would have to buy 12 more (we are already borrowing) which would mean waiting til the 7 month mark for the last nights reservation and I didnt want to take my chance on that or spend the extra on points.

Forgot that BCV has some dedicated 1 bedrooms. Call MS and make sure that you have a lock off booked for that last night. Otherwise, they won't be able to keep you in the 1 bedroom side of the 2B lock off.

We've done it several times opening up into a larger unit though not reducing to a smaller one. We've never had an issue. Make sure it's on BOTH reservations, don't do online checkin and repeat the request when you check in. You'll have to check in again on the change day in all likelihood.

We have done that too and haven't had a problem. Let MS as the front desk know when you arrive.
