Which term do you use for things like cookies, chips, candy, ice cream, etc.??

I call everything a "snack"..

What do you call it? And what section of the country are you from? I'm in the northeast - NY..

I call it what it is.

Junk food. :p ;)

I tell my daughter it's a snack and if it's something especially LOW on the nutritional value chart then that's dessert. :)

I call it thigh padding;)

I call my dogs treats goodies:)

I call it a snack :) (NC)

yeah, if it's cookies, that's what I call it. Chips, popcorn, etc.

I only call it snacks when I'm talking about lots of different kinds.

Junk food also...:) .or what it is..

From Chicago.....

Snack, is an apple, banana, other fruit, cheese.....

A treat is candy, cookies, cake etc

Goodies are what comes in the goodie bag given out at parties... which could include any and all of the above.

I agree with Laurabearz, but then I am in the upper midwest too!
