Is $290 round trip from Milwaukee to Orlando a bit high? Sould I wait a bit for Sept travel booking?

Personally I don't think that's too bad. I'm expecting about $180 per flight from Milwaukee to Orlando in December.. less would be great.

We paid $180 each way for the end of Oct.(mke-mco) but we have to travel on the weekends due to family schedules. I know it was a little cheaper on a Tues. or Wed. I think $290 not to bad. :)

Set up an alert on www.kayak.com for the dates of your flights. Watch the results for a while so you get a feel for what a good price is. Once you see something good you can go ahead and buy then. I wouldn't get too anxious yet for a September flight.

Nope that doesn't sound too bad. I was able to get our tickets for $235, but I got lucky and haven't seen them that low since I booked back in February for our June travel and I actually adjusted my travel days to get the lowest price I could find. (and to think I almost didn't book at that time) $99 is the lowest I had seen for one way, but I haven't seen that in MONTHS!

yeah that's about right. I was checking for our trip thinking of flying out Milwaukee instead of Green Bay, but I got round trip tickets from Green Bay to Orlando for 300 for the same time of departure. That's lower then I expected for a longer flight

I would book $290 out of MKE. Unfortunately we usually travel on the weekends during what used to be the WEAC weekend so we often end up booking out of Chicago instead - I can get it under $250 from there, but would gladly book $290 to fly MKE instead.

FWIW - 2 years ago I did get $160 round trip from MKE - MCO but I haven't seen anything like that in years.
